Notes:
Fritter the 7-Legged Spider
Mount
The Kernel insists that this tarantula of unusual size is house-trained. Fritter wears a harness made of definitely-not-humanoid-teeth-how-dare-you and woven spiderwebs. Fritter uses the giant spider stat block with the following changes:
• For your own safety, Fritter’s poison glands have been removed. Their bite does not deal poison damage.
•Fritter has an intense fear of heights. You must succeed a DC 15 Wisdom (Animal Handling) check to convince Fritter to use their spider climb ability.
If killed, Fritter can be summoned via find steed, find greater steed, or phantom steed.

You can use an action to blow this horn. In response, 3d4+3 warrior spirits from the Abyss appear within 60 feet of you. They look like Minotaurs and use the statistics of a berserker. They return to the Abyss after 1 hour or when they drop to 0 hit points. Once you use the horn, it can't be used again until 7 days have passed.
If you blow the horn without having proficiency with all simple weapons, the summoned berserkers attack you. If you meet the requirement, they are friendly to you and your companions and follow your commands.

Animated Shield
very_rare
A reward for saving Durnan from a dragon in Undermountain
DDEP08-03 Last Orders at the Yawning Portal
Show
Notes:
This shield appears as the head of a large beer keg, ringed by a rusty iron band. Whenever the shield is struck by a blow, a chorus of cheering dwarven voices are heard.
While holding this shield, you can speak its command word as a bonus action to cause it to animate. The shield leaps into the air and hovers in your space to protect you as if you were wielding it, leaving your hands free. The shield remains animated for 1 minute, until you use bonus action to end this effect, or until you are incapacitated or die, at which point the shield falls to the ground or into your hand if you have one free.

History: [[6]] Arcane. The Axe has subtle design motifs indicating the Axe was intended for use by a member of the Lord's Alliance specializing in fighting spellcasters.
Minor Property: [[15]] Unbreakable. The axe can't be broken, except by special means.
Quirk: [[2]] Confident. Carrying this Axe helps the bearer feel self-assured.
Oathbow
rare
Somewhere in Avernus?
DDAL-DRW08 - The Harrowing of Hell
Show
Notes:
When you nock an arrow on this bow, it whispers in Infernal, “Swift defeat to my enemies.” When you use this weapon to make a ranged attack, you can, as a command phrase, say “Swift death to you who have wronged me.” The target of your attack becomes your sworn enemy until it dies or until dawn seven days later. You can have only one such sworn enemy at a time. When your sworn enemy dies, you can choose a new one after the next dawn.
When you make a ranged attack roll with this weapon against your sworn enemy, you have advantage on the roll. In addition, your target gains no benefit from cover, other than total cover, and you suffer no disadvantage due to long range. If the attack hits, your sworn enemy takes an extra 3d6 piercing damage. While your sworn enemy lives, you have disadvantage on attack rolls with all other weapons.
This particular oathbow is made of blackened, cooled lava, its string glowing as if red-hot.
