4 Hours of Play You’ve gained the favor of Sebastian Emberstar after rescuing his employees from a lynch mob. In gratitude, he grants you an exclusive offer: access to their forges. You have the one-time opportunity to provide your own funds to add decorative flourishes to a weapon you own (gems in the hilt, embossed or filigree in the blades, etc). You can spend any amount, but if you spend at least 10,000 gold, the weapon’s craftsmanship impresses those who view it and know about such things. At the DM’s option, once per adventure you can gain advantage on a Charisma-based ability check by flourishing or displaying the weapon. The characters earn this story award for rescuing at least one of the Emberstars from the lynch mob. The Moonmaiden’s Waters You foiled an attack on the Moonwater, preventing Vanquo from taking control of the temple. While the temples’ famous prophetic baths were befouled, the High Initiate, Andorran Bree, has offered you an opportunity to use them once the waters are suitably cleansed. The characters earn this story award for defending Andorran Bree at the Moonwater. Caveat Venditor You managed to disperse a swarm of pixies from the Chiang Emporium in Ylraphon with minimal damage to the shop. Your reputation for mastery and grace precedes you amongst members of the Chiang Emporium. The characters earn this story award for clearing the pixies from the Chiang Emporium while limiting collateral damage. Local Pursuit You have become involved with a local institution in Ylraphon. You may choose one (and only one) of the “Local Pursuit” story award options described in Player Handout: Local Pursuits for successfully completing this adventure. This signifies your character having the opportunity to become more involved with day-to-day life and significant institutions in Ylraphon. You may gain only one of the story award options listed for completing this adventure, though you may later gain additional ones if other adventures grant these story award options. This award is available to characters who successfully completed this adventure. Local Pursuit: Town Watch Training (Longbow) You help to train the new Town Watch. Choose a type of simple or martial weapon that you and your comrades train with and record it as part of this story award (“Local Pursuit: Town Watch Training (Weapon)”). (If you wish, you may choose Unarmed Strike as a weapon for this purpose.) Immediately before or after an adventure set in Ylraphon, you may spend 5 downtime days training Town Watch members or recruits. Once during your next game session after this activity, you may inform your DM you are using this benefit to gain advantage on a single attack roll with the weapon you chose for this story award or on a single social interaction check with members of a law enforcement organization (such as the Ylraphon Town Watch). |

Copied Spells from Quaryl's Spellbooks:All of Level 1 and 2! Story AwardsDuring the course of this adventure, the characters may earn the following story awards: Larloch’s Unblinking Gaze. “The warlock”—in truth, the Netherese lich Larloch—has taken an interest in you. You have already discovered that he can control undead creatures with but a thought and that he has a significant understanding of the way that the Weave works. This may work for or against you in future encounters with Larloch and his agents. Lore of the Ages. The corrupted lorenorn Quaryl Tellasarim had amassed a wealth of arcane knowl edge over the years. The tomes are worth a fair amount to collectors, but as they are first-hand accounts of direct interactions with the Weave the scholars and acolytes of Candlekeep would give a counter offer: a tenday of access to the great library’s vast resources in exchange for a full set of 6 tomes of a given school of magic. Alternately, you can turn in 3 sets of tomes in to Candlekeep in exchange for a 7th-level spell scroll of your choosing from an Adventurers League-approved source. If you attempt to surrender forgeries or dupli cate copies to the acolytes at Candlekeep they will quickly discover your ruse. You will be ejected from Candlekeep until such time as you make a 10,000 gp donation or discover another campaign-approved method of removing this penalty. Myth Drannor Explorer. You have entered the ruins of Myth Drannor and survived to tell the tale. While this is still considered a holy place for elves across Faerûn, others may be keenly interested in hearing of your exploits. When you stay at a tavern in a large city (such as the Yawning Portal in Water deep), you may make a DC 18 Charisma (Persua sion) check; if successful your drinks and lodging are paid for by the other patrons. If unsuccessful, you are stuck with the bar tab for everyone that night. High-ranking elves may have a dim view of your unsanctioned activities in Myth Drannor. At your DM’s discretion, your Charisma-based skill checks are made with disadvantage when dealing with elf nobles and very strong spellcasters. |

Storyawards:Favored of the Worm. Any character that became worm-infected during this adventure earns this story award. Their flesh is covered in small black pock marks; even illusion magic does not disguise their presence. These characters feel a bond with insects and bugs (worms specifically) and feels a kinship with undead creatures even though they may not be friendly. Ally of Thay. You are known to be an ally of the Thayan Plateau, whether you want to or not. You have advantage on Charisma-based checks with Red Wizards and other non-slaves from Thay, and at the DM’s discretion may have disadvantage when dealing with Harpers and other enemies of Thay. Power to the People The Zulkir’s offer is sincere: he wishes to place any that accept this offer into a position of minor power as a low-ranking noble of Mulmaster. Those that accept may enjoy the benefits of a Wealthy lifestyle for 2 gp per day while in Mulmaster, and once per rest receives advantage on a Charisma-based interaction with another character or NPC in Mulmaster. This does not confer any specific title or other privileges. |

4 Hours of Play Story Award: If a way was discovered to set up a supply of the blue lichen to the Yawning Portal, Durnan provides all the Bluetooth Ale the characters can drink whenever they visit. Brewed from the blue lichen grown on the skeletons of dwarves left for dead in the Stonebone Mines, bluetooth ale is a truly unique beverage. The strong dwarven-style ale is a rich sapphire color, and has a faint earthy taste. While the ale lacks most of the special properties of the blue lichen, it still can turn the imbibers teeth (and bones) temporarily blue. The ale functions as an ingested poison. The drinker must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or find that their bones and teeth turn a dark shade of blue for 24 hours. |
