Sovad’s Staff of Flying (Broom of Flying)
uncommon
Trade Log
Show
Notes:
This wooden broom, which weighs 3 pounds, functions like a mundane broom until you stand astride it and speak its Command Word. It then hovers beneath you and can be ridden in the air. It has a flying speed of 50 feet. It can carry up to 400 pounds, but its flying speed becomes 30 feet while carrying over 200 pounds. The broom stops hovering when you land. You can send the broom to travel alone to a destination within 1 mile of you if you speak the Command Word, name the location, and are familiar with that place. The broom comes back to you when you speak another Command Word, provided that the broom is still within 1 mile of you. This oaken walking staff is capped by a triangle of ebony inscribed with runes in Auran. When activated, ephemeral strands of spiraling energy bristle from one end and a pair of spectral wings unfurl from the other. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

Wondrous Item, Common
While held up to your ear, this horn suppresses the effects of the deafened condition on you, allowing you to hear normally. This item is found in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, pg. 137.
Sentinel. This item glows faintly when aberrations are within 120 feet of it.
This is a typical earring that a githyanki warrior would wear when venturing out into the world. Because this item can be worn as an earring, it need not be held close to the ear to produce the intended effect.

Notes:
This beautiful golden crown is covered with diamonds each of which gleams with its own light. The crown resizes to fit the head of any wearer. Contrary to its name, the crown does not actually grant any wishes. Instead, when the person wearing it feels strong emotion of any kind, the crown sprouts harmless, colorful flames from its pinnacle, with the color of the flames based on the wearer’s mood: red for anger, blue for sorrow, green for amusement, and so on.
Staff of Power

Notes:
Requires Attunement by a Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard
This staff can be wielded as a magic Quarterstaff that grants a +2 bonus to Attack and Damage Rolls made with it. While holding it, you gain a +2 bonus to Armor Class, Saving Throws, and spell Attack rolls.
The staff has 20 Charges for the following Properties. The staff regains 2d8 + 4 expended Charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff retains its +2 bonus to Attack and damage roll but loses all other Properties. On a 20, the staff regain 1d8 + 2 Charges.
Power Strike: When you hit with a melee Attack using the staff, you can expend 1 charge to deal an extra 1d6 force damage to the target.
Spells: While holding this staff, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its Charges to cast one of the following Spells from it, using your spell save DC and spell Attack bonus: Cone of Cold (5 charges), Fireball (5th-level version, 5 charges), globe of Invulnerability (6 charges), Hold Monster (5 charges), Levitate (2 charges). Lightning Bolt (5th-level version, 5 charges), Magic Missile (1 charge), Ray of Enfeeblement (1 charge), or Wall of Force (5 charges).
Retributive Strike: You can use an action to break the staff over your knee or against a solid surface, performing a retributive strike. The staff is destroyed and releases its remaining magic in an explosion that expands to fill a 30-foot-radius Sphere centered on it.
You have a 50 percent chance to instantly Travel to a random plane of existence, avoiding the explosion. If you fail to avoid the Effect, you take force damage equal to 16 x the number of Charges in the staff. Every other creature in the area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes an amount of damage based on how far away it is from the point of Origin, as shown in the following table. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage.
Distance from Origin — Damage:
10 ft. away or closer — 8 x the number of Charges in the staff
11 to 20 ft. away — 6 x the number of Charges in the staff
21 to 30 ft. away — 4 x the number of Charges in the staff

Weapon (spear), very rare (requires attunement by a elf)
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the thrown property with a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. When you hit with a ranged attack using this weapon, it deals an extra 1d8 damage or, if the target is a Giant, 2d8 damage. Immediately after the attack, the weapon flies back to your hand.
Forged by the High Elves during the Crown Wars, this spear has vanes of green arrows carved into it. The item whispers to its bearer "May I strike true my targets!", granting a +2 bonus to initiative if the bearer isn’t incapacitated. It is an ode to Solonor Thelandira. The wielder needs to pray and express their gratitude every day, or automatically untune at every dawn.

Made by the drow, this rod is a magic weapon that ends in three rubbery tentacles. While holding the rod, you can use an action to direct each tentacle to attack a creature you can see within 15 feet of you. Each tentacle makes a melee attack roll with a +9 bonus. On a hit, the tentacle deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage. If you hit a target with all three tentacles, it must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature's speed is halved, it has disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws, and it can't use reactions for 1 minute. Moreover, on each of its turns, it can take either an action or a bonus action, but not both. At the end of each of its turns, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
