Caym Tyrrar (übersetzt Schrecken) wuchs als Sohn einer reichen Händlerfamilie aus Glister an der Moonsea auf. Frühzeitig zeigt sich seine Schwäche für das Glückspiel, besonders das Würfel hatte es ihm angetan. Um ihn auf den rechten Pfad zu bringen, schicken ihn seine Eltern in die Ausbildung bei der Stadtwache. Allerdings merke man schnell, dass er auch hier nicht wirklich hingehörte, da er seine Wissen mit den lokalen Schmugglern teilet, um doppelt zu verdienen. So beauftragten seine Eltern einem Privatlehrer, um in auszubilden. Dieser allerdings stand unter Kontrolle eines Mind Flayers und so wurde auch Caym in dessen Bann gezogen. Der Mind Flayer holte ihn in seine Ebene und hielt ihn wie ein Haustier. Als Caym bei einer dunkelen Beschwörung ein seltsamen Portal sah, nutzte er die Gunst der Stunde und entkam seinem Meister. Zurück in der normalen Welt und optisch entstellt, zog er als Abenteurer aus. Er will Reichtum und Macht erlangen, um eines Tages seine alten Meister zu töten.

To use the tattoo, you must hold the needle against your skin and speak the command word. The needle turns into ink that becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin in whatever design you like. Once the tattoo is there, you can cast its spell, requiring no material components. The tattoo glows faintly while you cast the spell and for the spell's duration. Once the spell ends, the tattoo vanishes from your skin.
The Illusion lasts until its card is moved or the Illusion is dispelled. When the Illusion ends, the image on its card disappears, and that card can’t be used again.
