Weapon (Longsword), very rare (requires attunement)

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Life Stealing. The weapon has 1d8 + 1 charges. When you attack a creature that has fewer than 100 Hit Points with this weapon and roll a 20 on the d20 for the attack roll, the creature must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be slain instantly as the sword tears its life force from its body. Constructs and Undead succeed on the save automatically. The weapon loses 1 charge if the creature is slain. When the weapon has no charges remaining, it loses this property.

The blade of this elegantly-curved longsword is fashioned of silvery-blue steel gilt in gold. A strip of delicate paper hangs from the pommel, upon which is inscribed a breathtakingly beautiful poem. When the wielder scores a critical hit with the weapon, its heart is filled with the agonizing ache of spurned love.

This translucent green stone came from the Far Realm. An Ioun stone is named after Ioun, a god of knowledge and prophecy revered on some worlds. Many types of Ioun stone exist, each type a distinct combination of shape and color.

Flavor
This dragonhide belt is made from the scales of the ‘Purple Dragon Reborn’. Whenever a creature is stunned by the wearer, the scales flare purple and a dragon roar booms proudly.

Harmonious. Attuning to this item takes only 1 minute. This crimson belt has the appearance of a knight’s sash. It is made from the hide of Balagos’ wing.

You have resistance to one type of damage while you wear this armor. This damage type is psychic.

This armor is made out of an organic hardened resin similar to amber. When this armor’s psychic resistance is used, you are wracked with terrible nightmares of unfathomable creatures that evening.

Staff of Striking

Staff, weapon, very rare (requires attunement)

This staff can be wielded as a magic Quarterstaff that grants a +3 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with it.

The staff has 10 charges. When you hit with a melee attack using it, you can expend up to 3 charges. For each charge you expend, the target takes an extra 1d6 Force damage.

Regaining Charges. The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll 1d20. On a 1, the staff becomes a nonmagical Quarterstaff.

Versatile. A Versatile weapon can be used with one or two hands. A damage value in parentheses appears with the property. The weapon deals that damage when used with two hands to make a melee attack.

This staff appears wholly unexceptional. The wood haft is gnarled and irregular, and the thin strip of leather wrapped around its midpoint is frayed and cracked. When rapidly spun in the hands of a skilled user, the staff creates a buzzing drone audible to all within 100 feet. If spun for more than a few moments, the drone turns into a sonorous, chanted prayer to Ubtao.

Wondrous Item, Very Rare

Flavor Text: An ancient stone tablet with the letters of the Common alphabet engraved on one side, alongside the words "Yes" and "No" and symbols representing "Weal" and "Woe". The tablet comes with a triangleshaped, stone planchette. This planchette must be resting on the lettered side of the board for the board's magic to function. As you cast the spell, you call on the ancestral spirits of both githzerai and githyanki to help guide the planchette across the tablet's surface, answering your questions by pointing to the letters or words on the tablet.

Minor Property: Beacon, You can take a Bonus Action to cause the item to shed Bright Light in a 10-foot radius and Dim Light for an additional 10 feet, or to extinguish the light.

This purple leather tome has 4 mind flayer tentacles embedded in the cover. When you read the book you hear someone else’s voice reading it to you in your head.

This cloak is made of the pelt of a smooth, blackfurred creature. A bone toggle fastens the cloak around its wearer’s neck. Close examination of the gold-embroidered hem reveals a poem that reads (in Common): “Six men in pain; six men rent. Blood, it falls like rain; broken bodies bent. Six men plead; and six men cry; Tearing arm and leg, six men die.”

This tower shield is made of hundreds of interlocking humanoid bones, dipped in a shimmering silver resin. When you are targeted by a spell, the bones vibrate gently and emit deep, ominous chanting in ancient Oman, lasting for 1d6 rounds.
