Aegis of the Raven Queen (VR)
very_rare
CCC-BWM-003 A Tale of Two Towers
Show
Notes:
This shield appears as a shroud of shadow with the symbol of the Raven Queen glowing in dim red light.
While holding this shield, nonmagical flames are extinguished within 30 feet of you as the shadow lashes out at the flame. The shield encourages you to hold no pity for those who suffer and die, for death is the natural end of life.
While holding this shield, you have a bonus to AC determined by the shield’s rarity. This bonus is in addition to the shield’s normal bonus to AC.

Bag of Devouring (VR)
very_rare
CCC-FC3-01-03 Tales of Estirwald - The Fun House
Show
Notes:
This bag superficially resembles a Bag of Holding but is a feeding orifice for a gigantic extra dimensional creature. Turning the bag inside out closes the orifice.
The extra dimensional creature attached to the bag can sense whatever is placed inside the bag. Animal or vegetable matter placed wholly in the bag is devoured and lost forever. When part of a living creature is placed in the bag, as happens when someone reaches inside it, there is a 50 percent chance that the creature is pulled inside the bag. A creature inside the bag can use its action to try to escape with a successful DC 15 Strength check.
Another creature can use its action to reach into the bag to pull a creature out, doing so with a successful DC 20 Strength check (provided it isn't pulled inside the bag first). Any creature that starts its turn inside the bag is devoured, its body destroyed.
Inanimate objects can be stored in the bag, which can hold a cubic foot of such material. However, once each day, the bag swallows any objects inside it and spits them out into another plane of existence. The DM determines the time and plane.
If the bag is pierced or torn, it is destroyed, and anything contained within it is transported to a random location on the Astral Plane.
Ambledragon said this bag would help cover up mistakes and deal with challenging individuals. I wonder how many “mistakes” he has used it on in the past….
This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

Notes:
While a fire burns in this brass brazier, you can use an action to speak the brazier’s command word and summon a fire elemental, as if you had cast the conjure elemental spell. The brazier can’t be used this way again until the next dawn.
The brazier weighs 5 pounds.
Bronze Griffon Figurine of Wondrous Power (R)
rare
DDHC-KftGV-13 Fire and Darkness
Show
Notes:
A figurine of wondrous power is a statuette of a beast small enough to fit in a pocket. If you use an action to speak the command word and throw the figurine to a point on the ground within 60 feet of you, the figurine becomes a living creature. If the space where the creature would appear is occupied by other creatures or objects, or if there isn’t enough space for the creature, the figurine doesn’t become a creature.
The creature is friendly to you and your companions. It understands your languages and obeys your spoken commands. If you issue no commands, the creature defends itself but takes no other actions.
The creature exists for a duration specific to each figurine. At the end of the duration, the creature reverts to its figurine form. It reverts to a figurine early if it drops to 0 hit points or if you use an action to speak the command word again while touching it. When the creature becomes a figurine again, its property can’t be used again until a certain amount of time has passed, as specified in the figurine’s description.
Bronze Griffon (Rare). This bronze statuette is of a griffon rampant. It can become a griffon for up to 6 hours. Once it has been used, it can’t be used again until 5 days have passed.
Chest of Preserving (Minor Property: Sentinel - Undead)(C)
common
PS-DC-STRAT-UNDEAD-02 Liches Just Want To Have Fun
Show
Notes:
This common wondrous item has the following magical property: food and other perishable items do not age or decay while inside it. The chest is 2½ feet long, 1½ feet wide, and 1 foot tall with a half-barrel lid. It weighs 25 pounds.
The chest has a lock, which can be picked with thieves' tools and a successful DC 15 Dexterity check. Smashing the lock or any other part of the chest renders it nonmagical.
This item can be found in Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage.
Sentinel (Undead). Choose a kind of creature that is an enemy of the item's creator. This item glows faintly when such creatures are within 120 feet of it.
An ornate chest decorated with images of flowers, fruits, and a tiny mouse running among the forest. Inside is a note that reads: “Thanks for restoring Elysium. You’ll always have a friend here. -Tarfen”. The chest glows when undead creatures are nearby.
Cloak of Displacement (R, A)
rare
DDAL05-05 A Dish best Served Cold
Show
Notes:
This cloak is made of the pelt of a smooth, black-furred creature. A bone toggle fastens the cloak around its wearer’s neck. Close examination of the gold-embroidered hem reveals a poem that reads (in Common): “Six men in pain; six men rent. Blood, it falls like rain; broken bodies bent. Six men plead; and six men cry; Tearing arm and leg, six men die.”
While you wear this cloak, it projects an illusion that makes you appear to be standing in a place near your actual location, causing any creature to have disadvantage on attack rolls against you. If you take damage, the property ceases to function until the start of your next turn. This property is suppressed while you are incapacitated, restrained, or otherwise unable to move.

Notes:
This ornate puzzle cube is carved from duskwood and polished to a shine. The lateral faces are engraved with the likenesses of Fenaria's companions in Tymora's Smile, while the top bears the band’s crest and their pledge to be "Always together, never apart". The latter half of the band’s promise - "Though we are distant, we are connected in heart" – adorns the bottom face. The likenesses whisper words of encouragement to the bearer whenever a surface is pressed, and the cube activated. Additionally, the bearer can discern the item’s depth below the surface and the direction to the nearest staircase, ramp, or other path leading upward if the words on the cube are spoken.
Curious Irradiation (Absorbing Tattoo - Radiant) (VR,A)
common
SJ-DC-LEGIT-SB-03 Mergers and Aquisitions
Show
Notes:
Produced by a special needle, this magic tattoo features designs that emphasize one color. Gold.
Tattoo Attunement. To attune to this item, you hold the needle to your skin where you want the tattoo to appear, pressing the needle there throughout the attunement process. When the attunement is complete, the needle turns into the ink that becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin.
If your attunement to the tattoo ends, the tattoo vanishes, and the needle reappears in your space.
Damage Resistance. While the tattoo is on your skin, you have resistance to a type of damage associated with that color, as shown on the table below. The DM chooses the color or determines it randomly.
Damage Absorption. When you take damage of the chosen type, you can use your reaction to gain immunity against that instance of the damage, and you regain a number of hit points equal to half the damage you would have taken. Once this reaction is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
Dark Shard Amulet (C)
common
CCC-GHC-BK2-09 Breath of Fire
Show
Notes:
This amulet is fashioned from a single shard of resilient extraplanar material originating from the realm of your warlock patron.
While you are wearing it, you gain the following benefits: You can use the amulet as a spellcasting focus for your warlock spells. You can try to cast a cantrip that you don’t know. The cantrip must be on the warlock spell list, and you must make a DC 10 Intelligence (Arcana) check.
If the check succeeds, you cast the spell. If the check fails, so does the spell, and the action used to cast the spell is wasted. In either case, you can’t use this property again until you finish a long rest.
Special. The dark shard amulet is a common magic item. It is treated like a potion or scroll and can only be claimed by one character in the party.
Discord (Plate) (Unique)

DDAL-DRW-15 Frozen Whisper
Show
Notes:
Discord is comprised of sharp, interlocking spikes of green crystal and extinguishes all nonmagical flames within 30 feet of it. A creature wearing Discord hears insidious whispers originating from a point just beyond their peripheral vision. Unless deafened, the creature has disadvantage on saving throws caused by, and on Wisdom checks related to, Father Llymic and its allies.
While wearing this armor, you gain a +2 bonus to AC. In addition, you can use your reaction to see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, out to a distance of 120 feet until the start of your next turn. Discord can’t be used this way again until the next dawn.
If a character wields Woe (a longsword) while wearing Discord, they are unharmed by temperatures as low as −60 degrees Fahrenheit.
