Magic Items

This cloak is fashioned from hundreds of overlapping feathers sewn to a backing of thin, lightweight leather. When activated, the cloak turns into a beautiful pair of immense, feathered wings of scintillating color.

This piece of fine red silk can be folded up into a handkerchief, scarf, banner, or cloak. When studied closely, the folds of silk seem to dance and flicker like fire. A character wearing or carrying this item can speak and understand Ignan.

This item has been meticulously trimmed and tended to in such a way that it appears to be a smaller version of one of the immense jungle trees in Chult. The staff’s creator even went so far as to create a small diorama of what looks like a tiny village in the upper reaches of the staff’s branches—complete with tiny, string bridges connecting tiny, straw houses.

This quarterstaff features a blunted iron hook on one end and is used by dinosaur wranglers to goad ornery beasts in their charge into doing what they’re supposed to. The staff is carved from dark, smooth wood and decorated with feathers.

Glows when within 120ft of a Knucklehead Trout

Pearls of white, blue, black, green, and even purple are strung on what seems to be a delicate string of seaweed and bound with a seashell clasp. Curiously, the necklace is always damp.

Armor (half-plate), uncommon
This armor is obviously Githyanki in design. It is ornamented with tassels, ribbons, and bone fragments.
Mithral is a light, flexible metal. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn’t.

This sealskin suit is embroidered with octopuses that squirm magically when exposed to air. If worn underwater, the wearer gains advantage on checks made to escape grappling.

When unfolded to the ship size, this boat has a small casino on deck. It has a wet bar, four casino tables, and flies the flag of Waterdeep’s current Open Lord, Laeral Silverhand (who probably neither knows nor approves of this ruse).
This object appears as a wooden box that measures 12 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. It weighs 4 pounds and floats. It can be opened to store items inside. This item also has three Command words, each requiring you to use an action to speak it.
One Command Word causes the box to unfold into a boat 10 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 2 feet deep. The boat has one pair of oars, an anchor, a mast, and a lateen sail. The boat can hold up to four Medium creatures comfortably.
The second Command Word causes the box to unfold into a ship 24 feet long, 8 feet wide; and 6 feet deep. The ship has a deck, rowing seats, five sets of oars, a steering oar, an anchor, a deck cabin, and a mast with a square sail. The ship can hold fifteen Medium creatures comfortably.
When the box becomes a vessel, its weight becomes that of a normal vessel its size, and anything that was stored in the box remains in the boat.
The third Command Word causes the folding boat to fold back into a box, provided that no creatures are aboard. Any Objects in the vessel that can't fit inside the box remain outside the box as it folds. Any Objects in the vessel that can fit inside the box do so.

The ancient disc is infused with psionic energy from the far realm, as well as the song of the Flux. The song weaves between madness and harmony.
