The bounty hunter got it from a dwarven smith, he got it from a Cleric of Mystra, who said he picked it up from Fai Chen in Chult. A convoluted provenance at best...

Kurai attended the wedding of two fellow adventurers, but the human ceremony was strange and confusing. Life must be difficult without a shell.

Kurai assisted in the internment of members of a hunting party that were killed by a peryton.

we found ourselves in Selpt, a town that seems devoted to their cats. Kurai bonded with a cat named Truffles who stayed with him.

Repelled an attack by skeletons on a roadside tavern called the Hawker's Cleaver. Tracking them back to an overgrown graveyard, we discovered a signet with the emblem of a five-headed snake.

Joined the Annual Peryton Hunt in HAWKGARTH
Hunted & killed an Alpha Peryton, then used a RAISE DEAD scroll to revive the trophy for the bonus for bringing it back alive.
