A fog rolls into the square in Phlan during the Reclamation Day parade, within it a wave of undead attackers. Left behind is a staff of ebony bearing an amulet of an onyx wave, the symbol of the Ebon Wave, an offshoot of the Zhentarim

We are directed to a book bindery to learn more about the Ebon Wave's activity within Zhentil Keep. The bindery's owner, a white dragonborn bard named K requested that we attempt to convince the Ebon Wave to leave Zhentil Keep peacefully.

As we approached the forest around the Keep, a pair of Wyverns with three casters riding attacked with fire breath, dropped rocks, and spellcraft.
One of the casters had a spellbook on them which Anorak took and begins to study.
