AL Rules:
If you can copy spells, you may use the rules presented in the “Your Spellbook” sidebar in the Player’s Handbook to copy spells found in adventures, except it costs 1 downtime day for each spell up to 4th level and 2 downtime days for each spell 5th level and above. If you are copying spells from another character’s spellbook, you may do so immediately after a session of play in which both characters were present. You are always successful at copying spells from scrolls.

When consumed or administered to someone else as an action, the mushroom acts as a greater restoration, but only as it pertains to reducing the recipient's madness level to 0. The braincap mushrooms are potent, however, and if you consume more than one per adventure, you immediately gain 1d4 levels of Madness (no saving throw). Cross this story reward off of your adventure log when used.

For the next year, you can find lodging for free in one of the Tiryki Anchorage’s fine, flea-bitten establishments—maintaining a Poor lifestyle for up to 30 days.

Snakes on a Brain. After being charmed by the grung’s gift, you experience recurring nightmares over the next few weeks. Most of them involve vicious serpents and a soft voice whispering to join them in the arms of oblivion.

You bonded with Kenna one way or another, and now she always seems to know when you are in town. Any time you rest in Hillsfar, you have surreal dreams of tracking pie demons that always end in a scrumptious dessert. Kenna also pledges more tangible aid, should you need it in a future adventure.

• Story Awards:

Crazy Squirrel - Clad in shinny plate armor, this adorable squirrel also wields a sword and a shadow shield with a red symbol of the Raven Queen glowing. If Speak with Animal is used to communicate with it, it says it is a Paladin of the Raven Queen and is here to smite Undeads! This Crazy Squirrel functions as a pet, does not contribute to combat, or provide any benefit beyond its adorableness! (I named it Percival for the game as it had no name, but you can name it what you wish ^_)

- Celia the Squirrel: This squirrel is native to the Feywild, evidenced by its bright blue fur and penchant of wild magical effects. This loyal pet may accompany you on adventures, but cannot participate in combat or provide any mechanical benefit

• Story Awards:

  - Hillsfar's Cycle - One way or another, you resolved the dilemma with Sir Ardem Rohan and the Boneclaw.

  - If Sir Ardem recanted his racist past and begged forgiveness, he may just be trying to save his own life. Nonetheless, you feel assured that others will follow his example.

• Story Awards:

  - Sir Ardem's Abhorrence - Characters who participate in this adventure and accuse Sir Ardem of misbehavior get on his bad side. Ardem’s memory is long, especially against those who sleight him, and he is not likely to forget their accusations.

• Story Awards:

  - Savior of Hillsfar - Your actions in finding the portals created by Malkyn Grenefeld have given the army of Hillsfar a chance against the incoming Dark Fey. The citizens of Hillsfar recognize you when you are in a public tavern or inn. The first round of drinks and food are paid for by grateful patrons. Your first night of stay at any inn is on the house as well.

  - Special Brew - Master Landon has promised to brew one potion of your choice (common or uncommon) to thank you for ensuring the safety of her Guild Mage.
