Hatdog wakes up in the barbarian structure after the brawl he had with Alice the previous night. He finds Maelstrum, and with all his frustration, he rushes the other barbarian.

They then begin to clash in the fight pits. Hatdog grows frustrated as he watches Maelstrum barely put any effort to hurt him and easily resist his strikes, but with battle tendency and instinct, he decides to try and push Maelstrum into the deeper pit under the bridge.

This fails, and they clash on the rickety bridge. Maelstrum takes the opportunity to grab Hatdog and he dangles the laxodon over the bridge. As Hatdog struggles to pull himself up, Maelstrum gives Hatdog one final chance to prove himself by dropping Hatdog into the pit, all he has to do is survive.

Hatdog is able to pass that final test, but could not bear the shame of losing. He keeps trying to attack his mentor, and to finish the fight officially, Maelstrum decides to jump and land on Hatdog, effectively knocking him out.

+ The Party arrives at the NE border on giant eagles and promptly go towards the shallow burrow where they look for the remains of a fallen Ciderfolk. They find it in the area.

• One of the party follows the tracks toward the NW and finds that it leads into a cavern. While this is happening, the other four begin combat with a Skittering Horror. Eventually, with their powers combined, they vanquish it.

- Party encountered 3 goats with signs: Kill me, Kiss Me and Karry Me chased by a kid.
- Ended up at the Victory Festival in Sutton. Apparently strange creatures have been popping up from the hole from the nearby mountain.
- In the festival, met Hudson a lively girl and spoke with mayor Ben of Redwood. The temporary mayor is now Mr.Fallstar from Luscinia but he has so many women.

- Once a well with toadstools around, is now a huge sinkhole that is actually a portal to the Fey Dark.

Small Fairy House at the top of the mountain
- The toadstool mushrooms that once encircled the well were actually home to tiny fairies. Since the sinkhole, they now live here and Kristoff used this as his hiding place for the documents. When the party confronted him, he threatened to throw the documents but it's all safe now.

• The Party arrives at the northeastern border where they see most of the surrounding area as well as a few gargantuan trees as they fly down.

• With Cedar's Commune, they also know that there is no influence from other planes in the area, and that there are game animals in the locale, as well as an Elemental presence in the general vicinity.

• Deciding to explore the nearest wooded location, they attract the attention of first one then two creatures that seemingly guard the trees. Upon investigating them after their vanquishing, the Party ascertain that these were Stone Defenders.

• Hypothesizing that the humongous tree is more than it seems, Harbinger his Echo closer to inspect it. Tendrils detach from the trunk and attempt to whack at the manifestation. After a drawn-out encounter the Party ends up with seven thoroughly dead Assassin Vines.
