Ever since her return to the city, Lady Asteria had been sharing excitedly to people, especially eldest Lady Sigrid, about a Fey domain she visited during her last adventure. As of late, she would frequent the local hospitals with patients suffering sleep problems to offer divine assistance.

When Lord Mornignstar was enroute to retrieve his daughter from the hospital earlier, he said he had witnessed Lady Asteria meet with a white-haired young man outside the hospital. He mentioned originally being worried and overprotective but according to him, they were ecstatic to see each other, Lady Asteria clinging to the blushing man's arm before spotting him.

They're all currently having afternoon tea in the manor garden. All is civil so far as the Lord talks back and forth between the two youths. He seems intrigued by how they met in the Fey domain.

Granted, I've heard him whisper some Netherese words with this 'Solis' when Lady Asteria wasn't looking earlier. The young man was shocked and worried at first, but the words said to him calmed him enough:

Training. This normally costs 250 downtime days and 1gp/day (PH 187) and is also limited to languages or tool proficiencies. The archfey instead grants a specific training or daily inspiration. The adventure must specify which language, tool proficiency, or skill proficiency the archfey grants through training. A character may only possess one magical gift from an archfey at a time; if another archfey grants a magical gift, the character must choose whether to accept the new gift (and pay the associated cost) and remove the old one, or decline the gift.

House Brynhildr-Morningstar logs, Waterdeep:

An ear-piercing screech was heard coming from Young Lady Asteria's chambers followed by what the servants could only describe as "the sound of a storm through the forest". It was later found that a nobleman from Amn came to visit her chambers in apology (something about what occured in the Fey Wilds), but the sudden appearance shocked the young sorceress, causing her to blast a hole through the east wing of the manor unconsciously.

Fortunately, no casualties were ommited, but Sir Dannyhir was singed and suffers some burns from barely dodging that spell. Lord Morningstar is currently treating the man's injuries with his cleric magic while his other children, Lady Sigrid, the eldest, and Young Lord Calven try to comfort their now distraught and shook sister.

The quasit K’nap, long trapped in Durlag’s Tower with the obese and foul nalfeshnee Schvalt, demonstrated a greater-than-average ability to perform autonomous actions. You have retained a bit of his fleeting essence, and may choose to bolster your own quasit familiar using a powerful ritual that requires the destruction of a powerful magic item. If you perform this ritual (see sidebar, below), your quasit familiar grants you access to the Variant: Quasit Familiar rule from the Monster Manual.

If you defeated K’nap, you gain access to a special ritual. By spending five downtime days destroying the staff of thunder and lightning and mixing its arcane components with the essence of the quasit, you gain access to the Variant: Quasit Familiar rule as described on page 63 of the Monster Manual. Gaining the benefit of this variant rule uses one of your attunement slots. In addition, the destroyed staff permanently counts against the number of permanent magic items you possess, and can’t be traded—even if you later forfeit the benefit of this ritual. If you ever choose to “unattune” from the benefit of this ritual, the attunement slot is once more available, but the staff of thunder and lightning and the benefit of the ritual fueled by its destruction are forever lost, never to be reclaimed.

You may spend 60 downtime days to craft one barrel of firespirits. Each batch requires special sweet herbs from Bitter-root’s copse near Durlag’s Tower and 100 gp worth of other materials, including aged dwarven spirits blessed by a dwarven priest. If you find yourself in possession of campaign documentation that bestows ownership of a distillery, this time and gold cost is reduced by half.
Each barrel contains approximately 30 gallons of firespirits, and can be sold for 1,000 gp. Alternately, as this is a rare elixir; it may be worth a significant amount to Fai Chen, certain high-ranking lords, or other purveyors of such fineries. Additionally, if you give a nip of firespirits (just a wee one) to a dwarf, all Charisma (Persuasion) checks made with them are made with advantage for the next hour.

Ever since her return to the city, Lady Asteria had been sharing excitedly to people, especially eldest Lady Sigrid, about a Fey domain she visited during her last adventure. As of late, she would frequent the local hospitals with patients suffering sleep problems to offer divine assistance.

When Lord Mornignstar was enroute to retrieve his daughter from the hospital earlier, he said he had witnessed Lady Asteria meet with a white-haired young man outside the hospital. He mentioned originally being worried and overprotective but according to him, they were ecstatic to see each other, Lady Asteria clinging to the blushing man's arm before spotting him.

They're all currently having afternoon tea in the manor garden. All is civil so far as the Lord talks back and forth between the two youths. He seems intrigued by how they met in the Fey domain.

Granted, I've heard him whisper some Netherese words with this 'Solis' when Lady Asteria wasn't looking earlier. The young man was shocked and worried at first, but the words said to him calmed him enough:

Training. This normally costs 250 downtime days and 1gp/day (PH 187) and is also limited to languages or tool proficiencies. The archfey instead grants a specific training or daily inspiration. The adventure must specify which language, tool proficiency, or skill proficiency the archfey grants through training. A character may only possess one magical gift from an archfey at a time; if another archfey grants a magical gift, the character must choose whether to accept the new gift (and pay the associated cost) and remove the old one, or decline the gift.

House Brynhildr-Morningstar logs, Waterdeep:

An ear-piercing screech was heard coming from Young Lady Asteria's chambers followed by what the servants could only describe as "the sound of a storm through the forest". It was later found that a nobleman from Amn came to visit her chambers in apology (something about what occured in the Fey Wilds), but the sudden appearance shocked the young sorceress, causing her to blast a hole through the east wing of the manor unconsciously.

Fortunately, no casualties were ommited, but Sir Dannyhir was singed and suffers some burns from barely dodging that spell. Lord Morningstar is currently treating the man's injuries with his cleric magic while his other children, Lady Sigrid, the eldest, and Young Lord Calven try to comfort their now distraught and shook sister.

The quasit K’nap, long trapped in Durlag’s Tower with the obese and foul nalfeshnee Schvalt, demonstrated a greater-than-average ability to perform autonomous actions. You have retained a bit of his fleeting essence, and may choose to bolster your own quasit familiar using a powerful ritual that requires the destruction of a powerful magic item. If you perform this ritual (see sidebar, below), your quasit familiar grants you access to the Variant: Quasit Familiar rule from the Monster Manual.

If you defeated K’nap, you gain access to a special ritual. By spending five downtime days destroying the staff of thunder and lightning and mixing its arcane components with the essence of the quasit, you gain access to the Variant: Quasit Familiar rule as described on page 63 of the Monster Manual. Gaining the benefit of this variant rule uses one of your attunement slots. In addition, the destroyed staff permanently counts against the number of permanent magic items you possess, and can’t be traded—even if you later forfeit the benefit of this ritual. If you ever choose to “unattune” from the benefit of this ritual, the attunement slot is once more available, but the staff of thunder and lightning and the benefit of the ritual fueled by its destruction are forever lost, never to be reclaimed.

You may spend 60 downtime days to craft one barrel of firespirits. Each batch requires special sweet herbs from Bitter-root’s copse near Durlag’s Tower and 100 gp worth of other materials, including aged dwarven spirits blessed by a dwarven priest. If you find yourself in possession of campaign documentation that bestows ownership of a distillery, this time and gold cost is reduced by half.
Each barrel contains approximately 30 gallons of firespirits, and can be sold for 1,000 gp. Alternately, as this is a rare elixir; it may be worth a significant amount to Fai Chen, certain high-ranking lords, or other purveyors of such fineries. Additionally, if you give a nip of firespirits (just a wee one) to a dwarf, all Charisma (Persuasion) checks made with them are made with advantage for the next hour.
