The Pages of the Lower Planes (Spell Book)
At one point in time this collection of pages was an
entire tome detailing the summoning of creatures
from every plane but few of the original rituals
remain. It was torn apart decades ago by feuding
mages with different interest. Since then the pages
have become somewhat of a collector’s item. The
pages are held within a cold iron box which is bound
with a silver chain. The loose pages are made of
black papyrus and the words are inked into them
with silver ink and are written in abyssal and
infernal.

=The elves and giants have made an alliance, and those who opposed were killed. Description of these elves seems like they were drow elves.

= The frost, fire, and stone giants have broken each others' treaty, and are currently in war. The reason for war? It is not clear for me. There are non frost giants in the stronghold, so it might be representatives of other giants. Although, they look like they were here to infilitrate instead.

= The frost giants also gave protection to human settlements in exchange for protection, however the letters seem to be old.

===the humanoid is being followed by giants and adventurers.

=the indiividual is dressed in light robes, a spellcaster. Died from the cold.

=A sorcerer died due to cold, however he was being chased by hill giants and adventurers who looks like a young girl.
= It is also worth mentioning that the settlement is not safe. It could be referring to the human settlement, although it's not stated clearly.

=There were signs of combat in the 6th room near the armory, and it supports the idea that the treaty between the giants is indeed uneasy
