A creature attuned to the astromancy archive can use an action to determine which way is north. If the creature is not on a world with clearly defined cardinal directions, such as the middle of wildspace, it instead points to the nearest world that does.

The instrument Flamsterd gave you has the Metamorphic quirk; it periodically and randomly alters its appearance in slight ways. The bearer has no control over these minor alterations, which have no effect on the item's use. It may look ridiculous while you play a somber song. Or it could change shape to match a whimsical tune.

The Initiate of the Flame staff has the Illusion minor property, allowing its bearer to alter the item's appearance in minor ways. Such alterations don't change how the item is carried or wielded, and they have no effect on its other magical properties. For example, the wearer could make the glass staff look like it's made of oak wood. The item reverts to its true appearance when no one is carrying or wearing it.

The dagger is shaped like a butter knife and has a black pearl nested in its pommel.

This bow feels cold to the touch and its covered in whorls and ripples of blue flames that erupt when it is drawn and ignite the ammunition fired from it.

Inscribed in the side of this silver key are Dethek Runes that say "Barthounar," which is Dwarvish for "thunder slash." When the knock spell is cast from Barthounar, the rumbling sound of thunder faintly echoes after the loud "knock" sound of the spell.

This armor is made from an alloy that combines Rustfire star metal and Rookoath iron. The metal components of this armor have a silver-reddish sheen.
