While on a stroll through the market district, the gang meets Kinrob, an oni in disguise, who runs the trade shop Ferk. It turns out Azrok had been supply Kinrob with weak goblin child to ease their own population strains.

Vaelyn is greedy and pays the ultimate price, but finds a new heart along the way. Discovered a troupe of clowns, The Undertakers, posing as vampires. Navarra summoned the contract nothic after two consecutive "bites." The party realizes they're on the first floor of Undermountain and returns to The Yawning Portal and Waterdeep proper.
