Magic Items

Characters who have served in the defense of Korama are given the chance to make a Greater Fey Pact with Yoshi, who now uses their full name of Yoshitsune, the true Lord of Korama. Unlocking this Pact requires the characters to have successfully completed the Ring the Spirit Bell, Recruit the Yokai, and Sealing the Rift objectives in Part II.
Any who accept this pact are offered a copy of Korama-monogatari, the book chronicling the founding of the domain and suddenly containing extra pages detailing the character’s own defense of the domain this day. The book functions as a Tome of Understanding, and is only available to those who swear fealty to the archfey in addition to completing the required objectives in session. Characters are free to reject this offer with no consequence, but those who do accept are warned that as Korama is a temple, characters are expected to show proper veneration to not only Korama, but to any temples they might encounter in the future. If a character willfully desecrates a temple or monastery, this pact will be rendered broken, and the copy of Korama-monogatari will be rendered blank, its text replaced with the word “Betrayer.” Remove any benefit gained from this tome should that happen.

This staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff that grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.
The staff has 10 charges and regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff is destroyed in an otherwise harmless burst of eldritch energy.
Eldritch Attack. When you hit with a melee attack using the staff, you can expend up to 3 of its charges. For each charge you expend, the target takes an extra 1d8 lightning damage.
Eldritch Escape. If you take damage while holding the staff, you can use your reaction to expend 3 of the staff's charges, whereupon you turn invisible and teleport yourself, along with any equipment you are wearing or carrying, up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see. You remain invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, cast a spell, or deal damage.

This incandescent blue sphere glows with an unearthly white light as it orbits your head, casting odd shadows all around you. To those nearby, these shadows sometimes seem to take on nefarious shapes or perform undesirable things.

Fashioned from blackened metal, this warrior's helm completely covers the forehead and makes its eyes glow red. The interior is lined with patches of skin from sacrificed Northlander warriors. The helm smells of blood and fire to a distance of 10 feet.

This circlet is inlaid with a tear-shaped aquamarine in the center. In addition, this watchful helm has the language minor property. The bearer can speak and understand Netherese while the item is on the bearer's person.

This crimson belt has the appearance of a knight’s sash. It is made from the hide of Balagos’ wing.

This old book, titled Book of Trios, is remarkably wellpreserved. Its brown-and-gold cover is coated with a finelayer of pixie dust, which gets on everything it touches. When a spell is cast from the book, the pixie dust swirls into a glittering aura of arcane energy around the caster.

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)
This magic vehicle is a 10-foot-diameter leaf that floats on water. It has tendrils that propel it across land and across the water's surface (but not underwater), as well as through the air. It has a walking, flying, and swimming speed of 20 feet, and it can hover. It moves according to your spoken directions while you are riding it.
The lily pad can transport up to 300 pounds without hindrance. It can carry up to twice this weight, but it moves at half speed if it carries more than its normal capacity.

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)
An Ioun stone is named after Ioun, a god of knowledge and prophecy revered on some worlds. Many types of Ioun stone exist, each type a distinct combination of shape and color.
When you use an action to toss one of these stones into the air, the stone orbits your head at a distance of 1d3 feet and confers a benefit to you. Thereafter, another creature must use an action to grasp or net the stone to separate it from you, either by making a successful attack roll against AC 24 or a successful DC 24 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. You can use an action to seize and stow the stone, ending its effect.
A stone has AC 24, 10 hit points, and resistance to all damage. It is considered to be an object that is being worn while it orbits your head.
Protection. You gain a +1 bonus to AC while this dusty rose prism orbits your head. This item is found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

This small shard of everlasting crystal ice appears to be a chipped off fragment from the control crystal of Ermyar’s Tower.
In addition, this stone has the Temperate minor property: The bearer suffers no harm in temperatures as cold as -20 degrees Farhenheit.

Armor, rare
You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.
Made from the frozen bones of Auntie Olma’s old coven, this half plate looks to be made from sheets of iron until examined closely. While wearing this armor, it lowers your body temperature to just above freezing with no ill effects, and the voices of the dead hags fill your mind with taunts and harassment.
