You took the brunt of the bone ball’s effects to save your fellow adventurers or you drank necrotic ichor after losing a chess match with the flameskull Crackle in DDAL 07-06 Fester and Burn. The necrotic ichor that coated the ball came from the Cyst and your body has built up a resistance to its effects. You have advantage on saving throws against harmful effects of the mote of the Cyst or the Cyst itself. You lose this story award after completing DDAL 07-08 Putting the Dead to Rest.

Story Award: Endless Bluetooth Ale.
If a way was discovered to set up a supply of the blue lichen to the Yawning Portal, Durnan provides all the Bluetooth Ale the characters can drink whenever they visit. Brewed from the blue lichen grown on the skeletons of dwarves left for dead in the Stonebone Mines, bluetooth ale is a truly unique beverage.

The strong dwarven-style ale is a rich sapphire color and has a faint earthy taste. While the ale lacks most of the special properties of the blue lichen, it still can turn the imbibers teeth (and bones) temporarily blue.

The ale functions as an ingested poison. The drinker must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, or their skeleton turns a dark shade of blue for 24 hours.

Story Award: SEER’s Delivery Service. You successfully delivered the rune tablet into the hands of the Lord’s Alliance for study, much to their gratitude. You gain advantage on ability checks that involve interacting with NPC members of the Lord’s Alliance. Additionally, you gain disadvantage on ability checks that involve interacting with NPCs that specifically oppose the Lord’s Alliance.

Story Award: Heroes of Citadel Adbar. Your brave rescue of the Frostbite Platoon has earned you fame and favor within the dwarven citadel. While the citadel normally shuts out visitors, you are granted access to the citadel’s upper reaches. You gain advantage on ability checks that involve interacting with dwarves from Citadel Adbar, regardless of where you travel.

Story Award: Ire of the Frost Giants. You either inadvertently or purposefully destroyed a frost giant holy site. Whether or not anyone witnessed the act, word of your “accomplishment” still travels and reaches the frost giant communities throughout the Realms. You gain disadvantage on ability checks that involve interacting with frost giants. Additionally, you gain advantage on ability checks that involve interacting with NPCs that specifically oppose frost giants.
