He gave me a set of bands that can restrain any creature, but I have no use for such a thing.

Kurai is contacted by Dara, who is ready to begin her final push to recover the last of the Bloody Hooves Hellriders and needs all allies she can find. We infiltrate the 422nd layer of the Abyss, finding the soul of the commander, but having to face Yeenoghu and Crackfang with waves of their minions in the defense of Dara and her desperate work. Kurai joins the heroes and the Bloody Hooves Hellriders to push back the Abyss' push against the forces of Avernus. All of his magic spent, it is only a Planar Shift from Dara that saves the heroes from the surviving legions of devils. The balance of the Blood War is maintained... and Kurai never wants to return to Avernus again.

The bounty hunter got it from a dwarven smith, he got it from a Cleric of Mystra, who said he picked it up from Fai Chen in Chult. A convoluted provenance at best...

Pipyap hired us out to bust up a lab researching uses for Hellfire to keep it's use from spreading. With Sotanax, Kethrunn, Helios, and Atticus along and Joffy clearing so many of our obstacles, it was a fairly easy matter.

Summoned by the Enclave to assist in a distraction mission in the Arenas of Maermydra. It's been awhile since I worked in the Underdark, I must admit. Worked with a Zhent named Zelene to take down Fire Giants, The Eye of Flame (an aberrated beholder!), and an incubus.
