Me mum brought me into the world in the howdah on a triceratops, just a few blocks from the midwife’s house. I’ve always said I was born to race cause I was born in the saddle!
We grew up pretty poor, if I’m honest. Da worked as a butcher for one of the guild butchers in the Red Market, so we never wanted for food and our small house did us fine, but no money for lessons or fine clothes, either.
Didn’t matter, in Port Nyanzaru, Everyone knew who I was, and I had friends everywhere I went.
I helped one of the butchers by keeping his name out of the rumors around a fighting ring he would host sometimes. In return, I was taken on as an apprentice.
I was wild and undisciplined as a youngster, but I realized the error of my ways. Asked if I could learn to box, not just cut meat. He saw to it I did.

Somewhere in the confusion, I lost a hand and couldn’t keep boxing. That, and needing coin to impress a certain lady, gave me a reason to go Adventuring again.
