Both my parents were humans, no clue there was any dormant infernal heritage until my sister was born. The two older kids are regular fair-skinned, raven-haired humans.

There’s Benedick. (NE) Big brother is a forger in Xanathar’s gang, pretty successful now. He’s a good info source when needed and just incredible with inks or paints. He sends letters along with Aunt Vik’s sometimes & they always have some fun wax seal or a little painted sketch.
After him was Mawra (LN). Stick up her ass & bossy, she works as a jeweler, like Da. Heard she and her kids hit hard times; I sent some money via Benedick, even though I didn’t have much. Benedick tells me she gave it all to the guildhall to pay dues instead of buying food or fixing up her shop. Stupid and stubborn.

Like I said, my sister Phaedra is a Tiefling too. Wings and red skin. She’s a physician in Waterdeep. Lives there with her best friend Chen. We get on fine; we just have different jobs.

Growing up, Phaedra helped me learn how to deal with Folks in the village treating us different.

Villagers got nastier and mom wanted to move. Eventually she left. I like to think it was on a pilgrimage. No clue really.
A year later, a mob hung Da for kidnapping, of all things. No judge and we didn’t hear anybody say they had proof.

Someone in the village sent to Aunt Vik & Uncle Roark. They came and moved us to Waterdeep and cared for us best they could. We were poor, but they managed to keep a small house. He made really beautiful saddlebags for a fancy shop, and we ate every night. Better than a lot of folks.
I always found it easy to make friends, and I loved being around people. Most Waterdhavians didn’t make a big deal about us lookin’ different. There’s lots of weird kids and odd stories in the South & Trade wards.

We lived with Aunt Vik & Uncle Roark until Phaedra got sorta famous for saving a girl called Chen from falling. Couple days after the rescue stories were in the paper, me, Phaedra, and Chen are moving into a big house cross the city and we’re ‘pprenticed by Eravel Stonewood, Half-elven Wizard.
He teaches us loads, but while we all learn lots of reading, and some plants, and place names, none of us really have the knack for learning magic off of books.

It was Eravel that noticed I had an affinity with animals. He found a groundskeeper at a huge house across the Ward that was a Druid and was willing to teach. He is called Melannor Fellbranch (72 You met someone important.)
Melannor was the first person I saw conjure a creature by magic. (97 Arcane Matters)
He encouraged me to get out of Waterdeep; grow my skill by living in a small forest village.
It was there, in Hawkgarth, that I was able to protect the villagers from a few natural disasters. One of the ladies gifted me with a family heirloom, a spyglass that always shows the world being ravaged by a terrible storm...

Assigned by Laeral Silverhand to research the strange emanations surrounding an ancient ring found under Waterdeep, we slip into a "wrinkle in time" and must escape from the palace at Shoonach in the year 130 DR and back to the present.

Cefrey and her companions are stopped while traveling to Mafisto Manor. Ser Titus leads a band of the Knights of Holy Judgement and asks our help in seeking a captured knight within the manor, along with a map that was in her possession.
While guests at the manor, the adventurers learn the Mafisto Twins are actually a succubus and incubus in service of Zariel. The twins offer to hire the adventurers to guard them on an expedition into a lost Temple to Orcus.

After locating the imprisoned Ser Gertz, we free her and then stealthfully burgle the paladins' map from a locked chest in Olivia Mafisto's bedroom. After sneaking away in the dead of night, the adventurers see Ser Gertz safely back to the knights.
Ser Titus encourages the adventurers to accompany the knights in seeking out the Tomb of Orcus instead as they hope to free the angel imprisoned within.
