Spent 1 downtime day memorizing the teleportation circles to White Plume Mountain and the Umbral Repository. Leveled up to 6. Copied Water Breathing and Leomund's Tiny Hut from Edward Elric (see scribing entry).

Basically ignored the travel encounter with Wind Walk, scouted the dungeon with Arcane Eye, and easily escaped from the demonic horde with Teleport. +2 self-esteem.

Found a Potion of Healing. Had to spend a downtime day clearing out the collapsed tunnel. Rescued a prisoner, befriended him, and later saved his life. Successfully completed the mission with no casualties. Almost died. (Amber wouldn't have gotten knocked out!) Self-esteem +2.

5 hours, total of 5 in hardcovers. Aryte nearly got eaten by ghouls and I didn't see them in time to warn him, but I did a good job tanking a black pudding, +0 self-esteem overall. Ended the session with full HP, 4/5 hit dice, 6/7 Wand of Web, 2/4 1st level slots and 1/3 2nd level remaining.

Got a surprisingly late-pick Staff of Power (the people before me took the Luck Blade, Manual of Bodily Health, and Helm of Brilliance over it) and scooped up a few extra items at the end. Also got Strahd's spellbook (comprehend languages, fog cloud, sleep, detect thoughts, gust of wind, mirror image, animate dead, fireball, nondetection, blight, greater invisibility, polymorph, animate objects, scrying) and Patrina's spellbook (detect magic, identify, mage armor, magic missile, detect thoughts, mirror image, misty step, counerspell, fly, lightning bolt, banishment, fire shield, stoneskin, cone of cold, scrying, wall of force, globe of invulnerability, teleport, mind blank, time stop).

Easily finished the adventure with nary a scratch on me and no serious injuries to any party members. Self-esteem +2, now at 2 and positive for the first time! Barnacles had a hallucinogenic encounter with myconids.

Successfully restored the lighthouse and caught some murderers. Self-esteem +2.

Walked into a trap. Friends got captured. Failed to save them. Got captured as well. Only escaped by sheer luck. Amber would never have messed up so badly! Self-esteem -5. Used a healer's kit charge (9 remaining).

Completed all five missions! Leveled up to Cleric 9. Bought some stuff, copied a scroll into my ritual book (see accompanying entries). Did very well in the mission for +2 self-esteem, now at 0! Got death cursed, ew, yuck.

You saved the life of Zellani, a priestess of the Maiden of Pain. To show her thanks, she has offered to perform standard spellcasting services (detailed earlier in this adventure) at a 25% discount. She may also help in other ways in subsequent adventures set in Melvaunt.

Used 2 healing potions, bought two more, paid 10 gp to re-summon familiar, paid 600 gp for Planar Ally. Completed a faction assignment. MVP against skeletons and in an interrogation scene, no major screwups, +2 self-esteem.
