Trinket: An old divination card bearing your likeness. Trinket: A diary written in a language you don’t know. Nine Lives Stealer Scimitar. Weapon (scimitar), very rare (requires attunement). You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. The sword has 9 charges. If you score a critical hit against a creature that has fewer than 100 hit points, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be slain instantly as the sword tears its life force from its body (a construct or an undead is immune). The sword loses 1 charge if the creature is also slain. When the sword has no charges remaining, it loses this property. The hilt of this weapon is covered with carved, ancient Rellanic runes that seem to comprise nonsensical words or, possibly, a list of proper names. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. The Ecology of the Tarrasque. Your research on the tarrasque grants you an encyclopedic knowledge of the history and lore of this creature. This award may have additional repercussions in future QCC modules. Membership in the Royal Order of Tarrasque Herders. Dryearth has offered you membership in the Order if you swear an oath to come to need of any civilized people threatened upon the return of the true tarrasque. This award may have additional repercussions in future QCC modules. Run Away and Join the Circus. You spend some time traveling with the circus as a performer until the start of your next adventure. You learn quite a bit about the inner workings of the circus during this time. This award may have additional repercussions in future QCC modules. Honorary Bullywug. For helping to free their god from the bonds of oppression, a bullywug tribe of Chult owes you a lifedebt. Should you ever find yourself in the presence of this bullywug tribe in Chult during a future QCC adventure, you will be treated as an ally. Should you ever willingly kill a froghemoth while in Chult or in the presence of a bullywug, this story award is lost. |

Vorpal Sword. Weapon (scimitar), legendary (requires attunement). You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage. When you attack a creature that has at least one head with this weapon and roll a 20 on the attack roll, you cut off one of the creature's heads. The creature dies if it can't survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it’s immune to slashing damage, doesn't have or need a head, has legendary actions, or the DM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit. This blade now hums and vibrates with great energy, and slices through obstacles with the greatest of ease. If the sword does not claim the life of a sentient creature each day, you find that are easily angered and become frustrated by even the smallest obstacles. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. The Opal Pendant. You captured part of the Soulmonger’s energy within a magical opal pendant taken from a Red Wizard of Thay. At some point in the future, you and your allies will need to deal with this nefarious device permanently. Perhaps this will aid you when you do. |

Scarab of Protection. Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement). If you hold this jaculi-shaped medallion in your hand for 1 round, an inscription appears on its surface revealing its magical nature. It provides two benefits while it is on your person: • You have advantage on saving throws against spells. This pin is carved in the likeness of Moa the Jaculi, trickster god of Omu. While you wear this scarab, you are hidden from scrying while you sleep but if you ever tell a lie the scarab becomes unattuned. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. Friend of the Ageless. Through your efforts to thwart Dendar the Night Serpent, you inadvertently freed the lich Rhaugilath from his bondage to the archlich Larloch. While you have made one friend, another no doubt calls you an enemy. Sacrificed two Hit Dice to power the Icilmaex. |

Favor of Candlekeep. Inkpot and the scribes of Candlekeep are extremely grateful for your stories and account of your time in Warlock’s Crypt. In return, they have offered to teach you ancient Netherese as an immersion course; if you would like to learn ancient Netherese, you must spend 120 downtime days at Candlekeep doing nothing other than working on your knowledge of this language. If you are not interested in learning ancient Netherese, you may instead choose three spell scrolls of up to 5th level (tier 3) or 7th level (tier 4) for free from an approved Adventurers League resource. Robe of the Archmagi (Gray). Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a sorcerer, wizard, or warlock). Originally crafted during the height of the Netherese Empire, this robe is a warm gray color and very plush. It is stitched with silver thread and the back is covered by Rhaugilath’s arcane sigil mixed with the sign of Mystryl. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. Rooster (Wand of Wonder). Wand, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster). Rhaugilath’s efforts to record the history of the Netherese Empire sometimes incorporated some unsavory elements… such as the transmogrification of a chaos sorcerer into this elegant wand. Covered in swirls, whorls, dizzying patterns, knobs, and clicky bits, it thrums and hums in your hand. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. |
