In addition, the hoard contains several magic items of your choosing (except that none can be of legendary rarity), including:

• Twelve potions
• Six spell scrolls, each of a wizard spell of 5th level or lower
• One magic ring, one magic rod, one magic staff, and three wondrous items

Under the treasure subheading on page 227 of TYP, replace “(except that none can be of legendary rarity)” with: “(except all items must be located on magic item tables F, G, or H, and uncommon, rare, or very rare, and may include up to one manual or tome—it seems that the demilich’s library has long ago rotted away)”.

Tome of Leadership and Influence. Wondrous item, very rare. This book contains guidelines for influencing and charming others, and its words are charged with magic. If you spend 48 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer studying the book's contents and practicing its guidelines, your Charisma score increases by 2, as does your maximum for that score. The manual then loses its magic, but regains it in a century. The red leather that covers this tome is embossed with a smiling man with a third eye.

Nature of the Weave. You have uncovered a series of tomes written by the archmage, Manshoon. By spending 50 downtime days, you gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. If you are already proficient in Arcana, you double your proficiency when making checks with the skill.

Stone Plate +2. Armor (heavy), very rare. You have a +2 bonus to AC while wearing this armor. This suit of plate armor was created by Cultists of the Black Earth and is fashioned from slabs of stone (instead of metal). The armor resizes to fit its wearer.

Wand of the War Mage +2. Wand, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster). This foot-long, twisted iron spike emits a faint coppery scent when channeling magical energies. While holding this wand, you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls. In addition, you ignore half cover when making a spell attack.

Heroes of Reclamation Day. You ran toward danger and saved innocent lives. The people of Phlan will tell tales of your bravery, and business owners wish to show you the city’s gratitude. You receive a 10% discount on goods sold within the city.

An Ally in the Ebon Tide. You convinced the Blackwind, Ezechiel Irnestul, to sign on with either the Zhentarim or the Lords’ Alliance. He survives, and his Ebon Tide may prove useful someday soon.

Manual of Quickness of Action. Wondrous Item, very rare. This book contains coordination and balance exercises, and its words are charged with magic. If you spend 48 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer studying the book’s contents and practicing its guidelines, your Dexterity score increases by 2, as does your maximum for that score. The manual then loses its magic, but regains it in a century.

Aberrant Power: Suckers. You gain a climb speed of 15ft. until the end of your next turn.

Chaos Mutation: Levitation. For 1 minute, you levitate upwards at a speed of 20 ft. per turn. Once airborne, you cannot move unless you have a fly speed. At the end of each of your turns, you make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw to recover from the effect.

Favor of Candlekeep. Inkpot and the scribes of Candlekeep are extremely grateful for your stories and account of your time in Warlock’s Crypt. In return, they have offered to teach you ancient Netherese as an immersion course; if you would like to learn ancient Netherese, you must spend 120 downtime days at Candlekeep doing nothing other than working on your knowledge of this language. If you are not interested in learning ancient Netherese, you may instead choose three spell scrolls of up to 5th level (tier 3) or 7th level (tier 4) for free from an approved Adventurers League resource.

Robe of the Archmagi (Gray). Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a sorcerer, wizard, or warlock). Originally crafted during the height of the Netherese Empire, this robe is a warm gray color and very plush. It is stitched with silver thread and the back is covered by Rhaugilath’s arcane sigil mixed with the sign of Mystryl. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

Rooster (Wand of Wonder). Wand, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster). Rhaugilath’s efforts to record the history of the Netherese Empire sometimes incorporated some unsavory elements… such as the transmogrification of a chaos sorcerer into this elegant wand. Covered in swirls, whorls, dizzying patterns, knobs, and clicky bits, it thrums and hums in your hand. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.
