Greeting of the Forefathers

You have learned how to introduce yourself in a formal and impressive way. During your future encounters with members of tribal cultures of Big Folk Island or the village of Jarko’tu’ta, you may gain advantage on social checks if you recite your Greeting during introductions.

The greeting of the forefathers is simple and consists of 7 parts:

Part 2: Name of father
Part 3: Name of grandfather
Part 4: Name of great grandfather
Parts 5, 6, 7: Life accomplishments

Geyser Figurine (Decanter of Endless Water)
Wondrous item, uncommon. 2 lbs.

This small figurine is intricately carved in the shape of a spouting geyser.
You can use an action to speak one of three command words, whereupon an amount of fresh water or salt water (your choice) pours out of the figurine. The water stops pouring out at the start of your next turn. Choose from the following options:

"Stream" produces 1 gallon of water.
"Fountain" produces 5 gallons of water.
"Geyser" produces 30 gallons of water that gushes forth in a geyser 30 feet long and 1 foot wide. As a bonus action while holding the decanter, you can aim the geyser at a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or take 1d4 bludgeoning damage and fall prone. Instead of a creature, you can target an object that isn't being worn or carried and that weighs no more than 200 pounds. The object is either knocked over or pushed up to 15 feet away from you.

Private in Pipyap's Army: Pipyap prefers to enlist wayward devils into his crew, but a devil you know did him a solid, and he didn’t really have any other way of repaying them. As such, he’s infused you with a bit of his own Infernal nature.

You gain proficiency in Infernal. In addition, if you’re hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks that aren’t silvered until the end of your next turn. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you’ve completed a long rest.

This story award may only be applied to the character who gained the level awarded. This boon isn’t without cost, however. Pipyap may come calling and refusing his call may have dire consequences, indeed.
