Jene Narben erscheinen immer wieder neu, egal wie sehr auch versucht wird sie zu kaschieren. Die Träger von Ilmater's Last spüren nicht länger den Zahn der Zeit an ihren Körpern nagen, keine Krankheit wird sie holen aber dieses "Geschenk" kommt mit einem Preis. Die Träger sind für immer an das Leid des Multiversums gebunden, jenes Leid das jeden Winkel jeder Welt durchzieht.
Der Preis der Unsterblichkeit ist der weiter das Leid Anderer auf euch zu nehmen. Theris und Kella Darkhope waren auf dem Weg nach Darkstone als ihr Wagen einen Achsenbruch erlitt. (Dank Kellas echt schlechter Fahrweise!) Danach machte sie sich mit dem Pferd aus dem Staub. Der zurückgelassene Theris traf danach auf drei schräge Gestalten, eine Magierin namens Zoe die unglaublich schlecht, anfänglich, im Zaubern war. (Und echt freizügig bekleidet nicht zu vergessen, hoffe die Gute erkältet sich nicht!) Ein Halbling namens Felgolos der ständig etwas von Abenteuern redet und einen Schweinebraten in der Taverne in Nightstone versprach. Sowie einen berühmten Dragonborn Gladiator namens Ziegel. (Schräger Name muss ihn unbedingt fragen woher er ihn hat.) Eine Weile später stieß auch Tonar, ein Zwergen Kleriker, dazu samt seinem echt mies gelaunten Schmiedemeister. Beide schienen auch auf dem Weg nach Nightstone zu sein. Die Reisegesellschaft setzte sich so in Bewegung und wurde in einer Schlucht von einigen Goblins überrascht. Eine Menschenfrau namens Amalia schlich sich von Hinten heran und nahm die Goblins unter Beschuss. (Außerdem ist Ziegel echt gut im Speere werfen, muss ich mir beibringen lassen!) Die Frau schloss sich der Gruppe an nachdem sie die Köpfe der Goblins abgeschnitten hatte. (Bäh!)

In Nightstone angekommen hörte die Gruppe auch schon das dauerhafte Läuten der Glocken des Kapellenturmes. (Was absolut keine Hochzeit war, entgegen dem Glauben mancher der Gruppenmitglieder.) Die Gruppe stieß in Nightstone auf eine Horde Goblins die von zwei Worgs begleitet wurde. (Echt miese Biester, der Erste hätte mich beinahe gefressen.) Mit den Goblins wurde kurzer Prozess gemacht, in der Stadt haben wir riesige Steine gefunden die Häuser zertrümmert haben. (Viel zu groß für die kleinen Goblins.) Nach dem Kampf und ziemlich angeschlagen machte sich die Gruppe so daran das Mysterium der verschwundenen Dorfbewohner und riesigen Steine zu lösen...
