Magic Items

While wearing this armor, you have resistance to slashing damage.

Curse. This armor is cursed, a fact that is revealed only when an identify spell is cast on the armor or you attune to it. Attuning to the armor curses you until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic; removing the armor fails to end the curse. While cursed, you have vulnerability to bludgeoning and piercing damage.

The surface of this icy armor is cold to the touch, with tendrils of frost decorating the metal. While wearing this, you have a keener understanding of duty and responsibility.

Despite the material it is made of, the temperature around you always remains comfortable, even in the hottest or coldest environments.

You gain a +1 bonus to AC while you wear this armor. You are considered proficient with this armor even if you lack Proficiency with Medium Armor.

The blade of this elegantly curved elven longsword is made of the sharpest and coldest ice from the domain of Aesandoral the Ice Lord. With every strike, you can see blue streaks of icy light, As quick as the blizzard winds, it only takes one minute to attune. Its name is inscribed on its blade in Sylvan. The command phrase to activate it is "Long may winter reign."

You can use a bonus action to toss this magic sword into the air and speak the command word. When you do so, the sword begins to hover, flies up to 30 feet, and attacks one creature of your choice within 5 feet of it. The sword uses your attack roll and ability score modifier to damage rolls.

While the sword hovers, you can use a bonus action to cause it to fly up to 30 feet to another spot within 30 feet of you. As part of the same bonus action, you can cause the sword to attack one creature within 5 feet of it.

After the hovering sword attacks for the fourth time, it flies up to 30 feet and tries to return to your hand. If you have no hand free, it falls to the ground at your feet. If the sword has no unobstructed path to you, it moves as close to you as it can and then falls to the ground. It also ceases to hover if you grasp it or move more than 30 feet away from it.

The dark fabric, hewn from the snight sky and strung with silver thread, shines with the sparkle of a thousand stars. To wear it will help you reach for your loftiest and most ambitious goals. It whispers to you in a language known only to the Feywild, allowing you to understand and speak Sylvan.

While wearing this cloak, you can use a bonus action to make it billow dramatically.

Frost salamander flavor

This wand, created by the archfey Ananeira's research, releases miniature shooting stars. It can also provide light in the darkness. You can use a bonus action to shed bright moonlight in a 10-ft radius and dim light for another 10 ft.

Frost Salamander Whistle
This horn was formed from the skull of a white dragon once offered to Aesandoral the Lord of Winter. It summons juvenile frost salamanders (with the statistics of berserkers). It will also carry your voice loudly as you bellow your battle commands.

The exterior of this rosewood sword mount is engraved with a pastoral forest scene replete with frolicking cats and leaping salmon. A red and white prayer cord (shimenawa) is tightly wound and knotted around where both halves enjoin. Loosening the cord and unsheathing the katana within causes the blade to loudly yowl and keen, before the sound fades away together with the last vestiges of its magic. When you grasp this walking cane and use a bonus action to speak the command word, it transforms into an ordinary longsword and ceases to be magical.

** Guardian:** This item has the guardian minor property from p. 148 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG). So long as the shimenawa is attached, and the knot unbroken, the item warns its bearer of impending threats through a series of meows, purrs, and hisses that only the bearer can hear, granting a +2 bonus to initiative if the bearer isn’t incapacitated. (Note that should the item become non-magical, this property is lost).

This trio of fully poseable, ball-jointed miniatures each resemble the metal canine monstrosity found within the hangar beneath Gendo's research facility, though they are painted a different color each - blue and white (traveling), green and purple (terror), and orange and red (travail). When activated, the size of each miniature changes to match their function, though they remain cosmetically similar.

Language: These miniatures have the language minor property from p. 148 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG). The bearer can speak and understand Sylvan while the item is on the bearer’s person.
