Notes:

FARENOR’S CLOAK OF MANY FASHIONS

Wondrous Item, common

While wearing this cloak, you can use a bonus action to change the style, color, and apparent quality of the garment. The cloak’s weight doesn’t change. Regardless of its appearance, the cloak can’t be anything but a cloak. Although it can duplicate the appearance of other magic cloaks, it doesn’t gain their magical properties.

This item is found in Xanathar’s Guide to Everything.

Special: This beautifully crafted cloak was given to Farenor by his mother Faraea when he followed in her footsteps and first began to search Wildspace for forgotten gods. Some small part of the man he once was remains lingering in the magical weave of this cloak and its wearer gains the ability to speak and understand the Elvish language.

Notes:

This cloak is made of hundreds of large, black feathers, and instead of transforming its wearer into a bat, this cloak allows its wearer to transform into a raven.

While wearing this cloak, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. Opal of the Ild Rune rare Giant Corpse Rewards As A Player (2/5): DDHC-SKT Storm King’s Thunder Show
Notes:

Opal of the Ild Rune
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)
This triangular fire opal measures about three inches on each side and is half an inch thick. The ild (fire) rune shimmers within its core, causing it to be slightly warm to the touch. The opal has the following properties, which work only while it’s on your person.

Ignite. As an action, you can ignite an object within 10 feet of you. The object must be flammable, and the fire starts in a circle no larger than 1 foot in diameter.

Fire’s Friend. You have resistance to cold damage.

Fire Tamer. As an action, you can extinguish any open flame within 10 feet of you. You choose how much fire to extinguish in that radius.

Gift of Flame. You can transfer the opal’s magic to a nonmagical item—a weapon or a suit of armor—by tracing the ild rune there with your finger. The transfer takes 8 hours of work that requires the two items to be within 5 feet of each other. At the end, the opal is destroyed, and the rune appears in red on the chosen item, which gains a benefit based on its form:

Weapon. The weapon is now an uncommon magic weapon. It deals an extra 1d6 fire damage to any target it hits.
Armor. The armor is now a rare magic item that requires attunement. You have resistance to cold damage while wearing the armor.

Iron Bands of Bilarro rare Armory DDHC-CM Zikran's Zephyrean Tome Show
Notes:

Iron Bands of Bilarro
Wondrous item, rare

This rusty iron sphere measures 3 inches in diameter and weighs 1 pound. You can use an action to speak the command word and throw the sphere at a Huge or smaller creature you can see within 60 feet of you. As the sphere moves through the air, it opens into a tangle of metal bands.

Make a ranged attack roll with an attack bonus equal to your Dexterity modifier plus your proficiency bonus. On a hit, the target is restrained until you take a bonus action to speak the command word again to release it. Doing so, or missing with the attack, causes the bands to contract and become a sphere once more.

A creature, including the one restrained, can use an action to make a DC 20 Strength check to break the iron bands. On a success, the item is destroyed, and the restrained creature is freed. If the check fails, any further attempts made by that creature automatically fail until 24 hours have elapsed.

Once the bands are used, they can’t be used again until the next dawn.

Instrument of the Bards (Doss Lute) uncommon Adventure Reward CCC-TAROT- 02-02 Guardians Scourge Show
Notes:

Instrument of the Bards (Doss Lute)
Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement by a bard)

An instrument of the bards is an exquisite example of its kind, superior to an ordinary instrument in every way. Seven types of these instruments exist, each named after a legendary bard college. The following table lists the spells common to all instruments, as well as the spells specific to each one and its rarity. A creature that attempts to play the instrument withot being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 psychic damage.

You can use an action to play the instrument and cast one of its spells. Once the instrument has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spell uses your spellcasting ability and spell save DC.

When you use the instrument to cast a spell that causes targets to become charmed on a failed save, the targets have disadvantage on the saving throw. This effect applies whether you are using the instrument as the source of the spell or as a spellcasting focus. This item is found on Magic Item Table F in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

Emerald Enclave artisans transformed the body of Shaggy Man into this musical instrument. Fungal scarring mars the lute’s soundboard and its rose is a stylized tree crown that subtly changes with the seasons: flowers blossom (spring), leaves grow (summer), fruit ripens (fall), and snow collects (winter). When goblinoids or orcs are within 120 feet, the lute plays an angry tune.

Doss Lute Spells:
Animal friendship,
fly,
invisibility,
levitate,
protection from energy (fire only),
protection from evil and good,
protection from poison
