Level 1 Feat: Tough

Pillows Eltern Grok und Muk waren einfache Gossenzwerg. Sie waren nicht besonders klug, ohne Stammbaum oder bekannte Abstammung und seit vielen Generationen Ausgestoßene aus der Zwergengesellschaft.
Sie gehörten zu einem kleinen Stamm von Gossenzwergen der sich in der großen Müllkippe vor Baldur's Gate niedergelassen hatte. Sie lebten dort vom Abfall der großen Stadt. Unbemerkt und unbeachtet von den Einwohnern von Baldurs Gate jagten und züchteten sie hier Ratten, sammelten essbare oder nützliche Reste und vermieden es vom dort lebenden Otyugh gefressen zu werden.
Ihren kleinen Sohn nannten sie liebevoll "Pillow", nachdem schönsten Besitz der beiden: Einem fast gut erhaltenem Federkopfkissen, welches sie auf dem Müll gefunden hatten.
Pillow war anders als die übrigen jungen Gossenzwerge. Er spielte nicht dort wo der Otyugh lebte (wurde folglich auch nicht gefressen - ein häufiges Schicksal seiner jungen Altersgenossen), interessierte sich für Zeichnungen, seltsame Apparaturen und sogar für Bücher im Müll. Auf merkwürdige Weise brachte er sich selbst Lesen und Schreiben bei und lernte fremde Sprachen aus Büchern im Müll. Er bastelte seltsame Konstrukte, welche auf fast schon magische Weise zusammenhielten und komische Dinge taten. Bald schon war ein Außenseiter unter den Außenseitern der Gesellschaft. So war es nicht verwunderlich, dass ihn niemand zurückhielt oder versuchte zu überzeugen zu bleiben, als er eines Tages seinen Eltern und seinen 2 verbliebenen Brüdern (vor diversen Otyugh-Unglücken gab es mal 4 Brüder und 2 Schwestern) erklärte, dass er die Müllkippe verlassen wollte.
Da außerhalb der Müllkippe alles größer und laut den Büchern sogar gefährlicher als der Otyugh war, baute sich Pillow seine "Hydromechanische Panzerung" aus dem was er auf dem Schrott fand. In ihrer Sicherheit brach er auf - die weite, fremde Welt wartete auf ihn…
