Pillow – Der Illusionist im falschen Körper

Einst war Pillow ein angesehener Illusionist – ein Meister der Täuschung, dessen Zauber stärker wirkten als die Realität selbst. Sein größtes Vergnügen bestand darin, die Welt zu formen, wie es ihm gefiel, und seine Feinde in Wahn und Albträume zu stürzen. Doch seine Arroganz wurde ihm zum Verhängnis.

Ein fataler Unfall bei einem Experiment mit dimensionaler Magie zerriss seinen Körper und schleuderte seine Seele in die Astralebene – gebunden an seinen einzigen verbliebenen Besitz: seinen geliebten, breitkrempigen Zaubererhut. Jahr um Jahr trieb er körperlos durch das zeitlose Nichts, verzweifelt auf der Suche nach einem Ausweg.

Ein Angebot aus den Tiefen der Ewigkeit

Eines Tages traf Pillow ein Wesen von unermesslicher Macht – oder vielmehr dessen Diener. Eine Kreatur, geformt aus flüsternden Schatten und endlosen Augen, sprach zu ihm mit Stimmen aus fernen Albträumen. Ihr Meister, so sagte sie, könne Pillow einen neuen Körper geben.

Es gab nur eine Bedingung: Pillow musste seine Treue schwören. Kein blinder Gehorsam, keine permanente Versklavung – aber gelegentlich würde sein Meister ihn um "kleine Gefallen" bitten. Undefinierte, unvorhersehbare, unvergessliche Gefallen.

Pillow, der seit Äonen in der Leere gefangen war, akzeptierte ohne zu zögern.

Das große Missverständnis

Er wachte auf. Die Luft roch nach Erde und Regen. Der Wind wehte sanft durch sein Fell.

Moment. Fell?

Pillow hatte wieder einen Körper – nur leider war er kein eleganter Magier mehr, sondern ein Waschbär. Ein Waschbär!

Der Übergang war... herausfordernd. Das Laufen auf vier Pfoten war demütigend. Aufrecht zu gehen, das Gleichgewicht zu halten, eine Robe über seinen pelzigen Körper zu ziehen – all das musste er erst mühsam wieder lernen. Doch mit Zeit, Geduld und einem unerschütterlichen Ego schaffte er es. Heute trägt er Kleidung, spricht mit der alten Eleganz eines Magiers und wirkt seine Illusionen mit einer Präzision, als hätte sich nie etwas verändert.

Und doch bleibt da dieser brennende Wunsch nach Rache – oder zumindest nach einer Lösung. Ein Ausweg aus dem Pakt. Ein Weg, seinen ursprünglichen Körper zurückzuerlangen.

Ein Leben als Abenteurer

Bis dahin verdingt sich Pillow als Abenteurer, nutzt seine Täuschungskunst, um Feinde zu verwirren und Verbündete zu beeindrucken. Er mag ein Waschbär sein, aber sein Geist ist derselbe: scharf, trickreich, unbeugsam.

Und wenn sein mysteriöser Meister wieder nach einem "kleinen Gefallen" verlangt... nun, dann wird Pillow erneut all seinen Verstand und seine Magie einsetzen, um nicht das Opfer eines weiteren kosmischen Scherzes zu werden.
