welcome at the Waypoint Bindery, on the

northwestern shore of the Moonsea. In

addition, you can use the Waypoint to pass

word on to your faction, even if your faction

representative it not present at the time,

and messages will be passed to you should

they arrive but your faction contact is not

currently at the bindery.

Finally, Krenez, the founder of the

Waypoint, will always have a bed and a

meal for you should you need it, free of

charge.

“The warlock”—in truth, the Netherese lich Larloch—has taken an interest in you. You have already discovered that he can control undead creatures with but a thought and that he has a significant understanding of the way that the Weave works. This may work for or against you in future encounters with Larloch and his agents.

Myth Drannor Explorer.
You have entered the ruins of Myth Drannor and survived to tell the tale. While this is still considered a holy place for elves across Faerûn, others may be keenly interested in hearing of your exploits. When you stay at a tavern in a large city (such as the Yawning Portal in Waterdeep), you may make a DC 18 Charisma (Persuasion) check; if successful your drinks and lodging are paid for by the other patrons. If unsuccessful, you are stuck with the bar tab for everyone that night. High-ranking elves may have a dim view of your unsanctioned activities in Myth Drannor.
At your DM’s discretion, your Charisma-based skill checks are made with disadvantage when dealing with elf nobles and very strong spellcasters.

Lore of the Ages.
The corrupted lorenorn Quaryl Tellasarim had amassed a wealth of arcane knowledge over the years. The tomes are worth a fair amount to collectors, but as they are first-hand accounts of direct interactions with the Weave the scholars and acolytes of Candlekeep would give a counter ofer: a tenday of access to the great library’s vast resources in exchange for a full set of 6 tomes of a given school of magic. Alternately, you can turn in 3 sets of tomes in to Candlekeep in exchange for a 7th-level spell scroll of your choosing from an Adventurers League-approved source. If you attempt to surrender forgeries or duplicate copies to the acolytes at Candlekeep they will quickly discover your ruse. You will be ejected from Candlekeep until such time as you make a 10,000 gp donation or discover another campaign-approved method of removing this penalty.

convincing Scarn Mikel to let him go peacefully, the

Blood Riders gain a new respect for the Frontier

Scouts. As a result, the riders stop bullying the

scouts and they stay out of one another’s way. As

long as you possess this story award, you have

advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and

(Persuasion) checks made to influence any member

of the Frontier Scouts.

Student of Stone
Illsenstaad has chosen you and you alone to complete his life’s work and put his soul to rest. By spending a total of 365 downtime days (these need not be spent all at once) possessed by Illsenstaad, allowing him to tell his stories and carve them into the living rock of Hotun-Shûl, you gain the Student of Stone story award (below). If you are a dwarf, possess the Guild Artisan (mason or stonecutter) background, or are otherwise proficient in mason’s tools; you complete this in half the normal time.

If Completed:

You have studied under the tutelage of Illsenstaad, a long-dead stone giant loremaster and stone carver. You gain the benefit of the dwarven Stonecunning trait. If you already possess the Stonecunning trait, you triple your proficiency bonus instead of doubling it. In addition, you also gain proficiency in mason’s tools and the Giant language if you are not already proficient

Dreamwalker
Kryshilir has taught you to look beyond the veil of the world and navigate your dreams. By spending 25 downtime days, you travel to the Seven Stones and meditate under Kryshilir’s whispered guidance. Upon completing this downtime activity, you gain the Dreamwalker story award (below).

Once, you can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with the number you rolled. You must choose to do so before the roll. This story award may be earned again as often as you like, but you must complete the Dreamwalker downtime activity (above) each time and may not do so again until you no longer possess this story award.
