If the characters emerge from the dwarven crypts with Orcsplitter in their custody, the Harpers in area X5 confront them under the open sky. If the characters avoid area X5, the Harpers will track them and confront them elsewhere (the DM is encouraged to choose a thematically appropriate location based on the characters and their actions in the story thus far) within the next two days. They point out that Orcsplitter belongs in the hands of dwarven scholars. They’ll first appeal to the characters’ sense of altruism, but if that doesn’t work, the Harpers try to arrange for a trade that allows a single character to choose one option from a list of magic items and services in exchange for Orcsplitter:

Founding Land Owner (Downtime Activity)
Spend 1,000 gp and 30 downtime days to obtain this award, which marks you as a resident of Ylraphon. You are the owner of a 10-foot by 10-foot room in town which you can call entirely your own, which contains a bed, one chest, two chairs, and a very small table. In addition, while adventuring in the Ylraphon area, you can reduce the cost of a comfortable, wealthy, or aristocratic lifestyle by 2 gp per day (to a minimum of 1 gp per day). This award is available to characters who succeeded in bringing Orrin and Bresden back alive.

Preaching the Faith (Downtime Activity)
You take on an important role at a local temple or shrine. Choose a deity you worship. If you do not already worship a chosen deity, you must choose one worshiped by a fellow member of your party. Record your choice as part of this story award (“Local Pursuit: Preaching the Faith (Deity)”). Immediately before or after an adventure set in Ylraphon, you may spend 5 downtime days participating in or leading religious rites (such as weddings, funerals, ordinations, or rituals recognizing holy occasions). If you do so, you gain the benefits of having spent 3 days performing the Recuperating downtime activity (as described in the Player’s Handbook), and you begin your next game session with Inspiration.

Guild Delving (Downtime Activity)
Immediately before or after an adventure set in Ylraphon, you may spend up to 30 downtime days (minimum 10) to attempt to research, find, and explore some of the ruins of Outer Ylraphon in search of treasure. In the presence of the DM, roll percentile dice and add the number of days spent on this downtime activity, comparing the total to the Guild Delving Table on this page.

If a way was discovered to set up a supply of the blue lichen to the Yawning Portal, Durnan provides all the Bluetooth Ale the characters can drink whenever they visit. Brewed from the blue lichen grown on the skeletons of dwarves left for dead in the Stonebone Mines, bluetooth ale is a truly unique beverage. The strong dwarven-style ale is a rich sapphire color and has a faint earthy taste. While the ale lacks most of the special properties of the blue lichen, it still can turn the imbibers teeth (and bones) temporarily blue. The ale functions as an ingested poison. The drinker must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, or their skeleton turns a dark shade of blue for 24 hours.
