You must expend 6 downtime days to read the tome of understanding, after which the tome is destroyed and you increase your Wisdom score by 2. In addition, you automatically and immediately detect creatures affected by the Chaos Phage (or other slaadi poisoning) within 60ft. of your person. As an action, you can remove these afflictions by touching the creature.* This book contains intuition and insight exercises, and its words are charged with magic.
