**Story Award: Nine-Pin Tender** After suffering a crushing defeat in a game of nine-pins with Halaster the Mad Mage, you spent a year and a day laboring in Undermountain. While you have been released from your service, you can still hear the echoing thundering of balls and the crashing of pins. Once after you return from Undermountain, when you are hit with thunder damage, you may use your reaction to expel raw arcane power from your body. If you do, the creature that hit you takes 55 (10d10) force damage; a successful DC 18 Dexterity saving throw cuts this damage by half. After you take this reaction, the echoes of the thunder fade from your mind and this ability may not be used again.
