We infiltrate the 422nd layer of the Abyss, finding the soul of the commander, but having to face Yeenoghu and Crackfang with waves of their minions in the defense of Dara and her desperate work. Kurai joins the heroes and the Bloody Hooves Hellriders to push back the Abyss' push against the forces of Avernus. All of his magic spent, it is only a Planar Shift from Dara that saves the heroes from the surviving legions of devils. The balance of the Blood War is maintained... and Kurai never wants to return to Avernus again.
