It was when he was injured and unable to keep the pact that my parents set out to find the place where my grandfather struck his deal, seeking to take up his quest. Inspired by his courage, I went to seek them out. At 19, my girlfriend scorned me. I learned it was because another man had accused me of theft, but only after my capture. There was no evidence but I was convicted and I served a year on an oar. When I returned, my girlfriend had married my accuser. My oarmate was a human rogue convicted for counterfeiting. We were released the same day and he accompanied me to find what became of my parents. We split up after we returned, but I’d do anything to help Jacquard out of another pinch.

Story Award: Ally: Zehira Deryan As a thanks for freeing her from the morkoth lair, Zehira becomes a staunch ally of the characters. She boldly assumes command of Umberlee’s Resolve. Upon return to Turmish, she makes amends with her parents and takes on the role of a privateer captain sailing under the flag of Turmish. She accompanies the characters on the next adventure.

Reshii and Zehira assisted the Warband with some treasure hunting in White Plume Mountain. A curious, central tunnel into a boiling lake would've been a threat, but between the long range of Reshii's Eldritch Blast and other attacks of significant range, a giant crab was poached. It was admittedly somewhat unfair to the crustacean guardian, but the trident Wave was retrieved all the same.

A benefactor brought Silbleveki texts telling of a ruin under a nearby mountain. The Band is then hired to plumb its depths. They removed the Vampire Ctenmirr, finding the hammer Whelm in it's posession. Navigating a number of traps and ambushes along a western hallway, the band found themselves in a fight that threatened to bring many of them down against an oni named Qesnef. Qesnef's hoard includes the legendary hexblade Blackrazor.
