Notes
*purchased Axebeak mount -50g, purchased 2 more javelins -1g* After a game of Goatball with Hideminder and the THUNLAKALAGA, the band retires for the evening. In the midnight, we discover that Hideminder has been murdered and his corpse left in a ritual circle of blood. Ardos determined the goatherd was alive during the horrific ritual, then torn limb from limb. Hasbro discovered Hideminder's chardalyn arrowhead had been stolen; Westra discovered the trail of the killer. We pursued them, but ran afoul of a manticore. Destroying it, we discovered it had attacked and killed delivery team from the Good Mead meadery. We recovered the shipment, but the wagon, axebeaks, and men had been destroyed too much to do anything but light them afire. Discovering Frostclaw's lair, we avoided a pit trap and found her nest. Within it were cave paintings of her plan to takeover Ten Towns and a vault of trophies. The trophies of chardalyn activated, but we were able to smash them. We learned that a Yeti had attacked most of our axebeak mounts, but it only spooked them. Pulling the group from the den, Westra worked the rearguard, protecting the crew from the Chardalyn mephits and a surprise attack by a young remorhaz.

Magic Items

Name Rarity Location Table Result Counts?
Boots of Striding and Springing Uncommon A dead dwarf in a pit trap beneath Frostclaw's Lair false
Wondrous item, uncommon *(requires attunement)* The boots are gnome-crafted, with gears and springs embedded in the soles. At first glance they appear worn, but on closer inspection, the boots are designed that way. While you wear these boots, your walking speed becomes 30 feet, unless your walking speed is higher, and your speed isn’t reduced if you are encumbered or wearing heavy armor. In addition, you can jump three times the normal distance, though you can’t jump farther than your remaining movement would allow. This item is found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.
