Notes
To escape an avalanche, Westra and a few outsiders travelling with her took refuge in a burrow in the ice. We discovered an individual who called herself Mother Tusk. Mother Tusk is an awakened walrus who is matriarch over a number of awakened animals after their druid died. Mother Tusk assisted in finding safe passage through the Spine of the World, but requested that we clear a side passage for her. There we found an orc burial chamber that had been disturbed by an incompetent "ar-key-lo-gist" that was grave robbing. Removing totems of the orc gods had reanimated the dead orc warriors in defense of the chamber. We fought them valiantly, felling a score or more. I fell in the battle and was revived by a minstrel with healing majik like a shaman's. When the majik users determined the placement for the orc fetishes, the zombie fell inert. I claimed a quiver of 20 arrows, a potion of poison resistance, and 20 gold coins as my share of the plunder.

Ersatz Eye | Common | Given by an amateur archaeologist we saved from orc zombies | false | ||
Wondrous item, common (requires attunement) This particular eye was recovered from an ancient orc burial site and it appears oversized and orcish while embedded in your eye socket. This artificial eye replaces a real one that was lost or removed. While the ersatz eye is embedded in your eye socket, it can’t be removed by anyone other than you, and you can see through the tiny orb as though it were a normal eye. While you’re attuned to the ersatz eye, you can read and understand, but not speak Orc. Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, pg. 137 |
