The party travelled by river barge from Elturel to Baldur's Gate to watch for the caravan of the Cult of the Dragon.

On the 4th day of travel, he must intervene with a cruel nobleman who is abusing his drafthorses. On the 10th day of travel, the caravan scouts report a herd of deer and a magnificent golden stag. Salazar & Zuli pursue and find the stag. He leaps away and they give chase. The Stag leads them to the ruins of a castle in the forest, where the stag addresses Zuli in Sylvan.
