On the 4th day of travel, he must intervene with a cruel nobleman who is abusing his drafthorses. On the 10th day of travel, the caravan scouts report a herd of deer and a magnificent golden stag. Salazar & Zuli pursue and find the stag. He leaps away and they give chase. The Stag leads them to the ruins of a castle in the forest, where the stag addresses Zuli in Sylvan. A prophecy is given: *"Continue following the river of gold to the castle in the sky. The path will be filled with hardship and blood."* As he disappeared, he said, *"Not all will survive..."*
