Eks hired by Derlen Satleren from Lord's Alliance Melvaunt station. Derlen is mean, evil lord. Will not let Mr. Pig sleep inside with Eks. Derlen also wants Eks to go with Halfling Thief named Fallon, Gith wizard Murek, and Sage named Luna. Four and Mr. Pig are to find ship named *Merchant's Folly*, capture or kill pirates called the Teshwave siblings, and return all to Melvaunt for ship burning and sibling execution. We ride on big ship. Mr. Pig becomes octopus and explores ocean. Mr. Pig and archers fight merrow that were attacking mermaid princess. She invites us to visit mermaid city but Eks can't hold breath that long. We find *Merchant's Folly*. Rogue just says Hi to brother. We have conversation with Tea. Brother & Sister are reasonable and tell us they do not hurt people, they just charm them and take the items Lord's Alliance and Zhentarim smuggle. That does not seem so bad. Fallon and Murak negotiate deal with Teshwaves to give us *Folly* boat, fancy feather cape, and leave cargo. They take coins and rowboat and return to secret cove. We take *Folly* boat back to Melvaunt, tell Derlen theTeshwave got away. Derlen tells people in Melvaunt that Teshwaves are on *Folly* ship when he burns it, then he pays us. Not strangest job Eks and Mr. Pig ever do, but comes close. Fancy feather cape can make us fly! **SA: A Mermaid’s Request** By chance and skill, you have saved the mermaid Almeta from merrow attackers. She is forever grateful for this, and has extended an open invitation to her underwater village for the foreseeable future. **SA: Let Caged Birds Free.** Accepting their offer to repent *(for now)*, you have let the Teshwave Siblings go free. Their boat taken from them, their future is currently unknown. But make no mistake, they will make waves again.
