Notes
Eks and Mr. Pig employed by Hamil Hannover *(half-elf in fedora)*, a fellow of the Border Kingdoms Historical Society to guard facy magic types trying to find his missing partner, Brent Brownbarrell *(dwarf researcher in trouble)* and possibly Brent's Harper pin. Hamil "misplaced" dwarf's pin in the cottage of a lady woodcutter. Hannover wake us in middle of night and send us out to search with only 2 hours sleep. Says Brent in trouble. I do not like, but better than travelling in daylight. Chatty sorcerer made deals for reclaiming Harper pin. Eks did not like smell of place. Smelled like fiend. Forest full of spiderwebs. Sorcerer and Wizard threw fire and ice to kill many spiders and ettercaps. Eks & Mr. Pig killed one ettercap with lance in a charge and another with *The Sixth Sword* after it tried to ambush us. Dwarf Brownbarel was captured by gnolls. They making gnolls from humans and hyenas. We kill gnoll fang of Yeenoghu and they stop cause no more magic. Job so easy that Eks & Mr. Pig both fell asleep while others talk to woodcutter in house. Probably because no rest night before. **Story Award: Treasure Hunter** - Researcher Hannover spreads word of your treasure hunting skills far and wide through the Border Kingdoms. You have a reputation for being able to acquire unique items that others have given up as being lost forever.

Weapon of Warning - Whip Uncommon Traded from a strange old woodcutter in a cabin in the woods. false
The handle of the whip is emblazoned with the symbol of a skeletal bat, its wings stretched out over a crescent moon laying with its wingtips pointed upward. This whip warns you of danger. While the weapon is on your person, you have advantage on initiative rolls. In addition, you and any of your companions within 30 feet of you can't be surprised, except when incapacitated by something other than nonmagical sleep. The whip magically awakens you and your companions within range if any of you are sleeping naturally when combat begins.
