The next time you visit the temple, you can receive healing up to your hit point maximum. 00 Weird Stuff 6 You served a powerful adventurer as a hireling. You have only recently left that service. ####(Secret History) Eks was born 11 years ago to a smallish clan who cleaned the sewers beneath Baldur’s Gate. It seems a lifetime ago that they discovered the magic bag. The tribe’s elder sorcerer began to experiment with the beans. Eks was fed eggs that grew from one of them. He doesn’t remember much of the time after that, but he awoke months later in a side tunnel, surrounded by weapons and supplies. He gathered them up, instinctively donning the mail as if he’d done it hundreds of times. Moving into the alleys of The Gate, he was greeted by a tall half-elf, Professor Eben. The professor, recognizing that the effects of the beans were fading, released his squire from service, knowing that the alter ego was too altruistic to continue his path of conquest.
