Alex found a haunted diary of a young serving girl once called Sarah. It was obvious from the outset that her murderer was her former employer, Lord Vialis Yellowcrest, or a member of his cult. Travelled to Waterdeep and found ourselves in a street fight with the lord's assistant, Faeryl. It was entirely self-defense and we managed to render his bodyguards unconscious and clear out before the city watch responded. Tracked Faeryl and Vialis to a village called Greenfast. In the basement of the ruined tower outside the city, we stopped his summoning ritual, as you do, and freed some locals they'd abducted. Found the ashes of Sarah and the Yellowcrest family and laid them to rest. Also purchased a carriage *(-100g)* and four horses *(-200g)* to convey us from Candlekeep to Waterdeep, out to Greenfast, and then back to Candlekeep. + 1 *potion of healing (superior)*, 1 *chime of opening*, 1 *Spell Scroll of Teleport*, 1 *Spell Scroll of Counterspell* and a spellbook with evil rituals called *Retribution of the Ancients*, but Kwinn gave his copy to Candlekeep.
