Backstory
Sigrun was a waitress at the only joint in town... before a band of goblinoids razed it and carried off most of the inn's staff & customers. None of the locals were surprised though. After all, these things just happen sometimes.

While caged, Sigrun dreamed. She hallucinated. She prayed for a miracle, any means of escape, even death. She called on every deity she could remember. Tadriel, a practical, lighthearted & mischievous Deva, popped into Sigrun's dreams on the 30th night. He told her that Sigrun's prayers had been heard. Her request would be granted, but since he owed favors to Waukeen, Lathander, & Mystra, she was going to put in the work when they called those markers, starting with this cave of orcs.

He touched a lock of her matted, fouled hair and it seemed to grow bright. But really, it was her eyes & skin glowing. Burning. From the inside. Then, the wild magic started.

About five ten-days after the Waystone burned, Sigrun Heorot, walked into the village. Still wearing tatters of her apron and homespun clothes, she lead a near-dead horse carrying a pair of small, scared children and tied to the cantle of the saddle was a fair mess of orc & goblin heads.

The former tavern girl answered no questions. She left the orphans in the care of foster parents, collected any bounty money in form of travelling supplies, and left the burned out Waystone Inn behind for good.
