| A marvel of Gnomish ingenuity with its simple beauty and infinite utility, this 12-inch long, rustproof steel bar has two gemstone buttons along one long side. Pressing a button requires an action to activate. The first button, a deep ruby gemstone, causes six needle-thin beams of illusory crimson light to extend from each face, forming a three-dimensional axis. When held between solid objects, illusory numbers display the distance, to a maximum of 60 feet. The beams gradually change in color from crimson to emerald green if the rod is held perfectly parallel to the floor. The illusion does not reveal hidden or obscured objects and vanishes when the ruby button is released. The second button, an alexandrite gemstone that shifts between deep purple and blue, causes the rod to become magically fixed in place, defying gravity and remaining as positioned until the button is pressed again. ***TLDR:** This immovable rod is flavored as a three-dimensional laser level with distance readout to 60 feet.* | |||||
