Armin found himself in shore leave in Port Nyanzaru when demon pirates raided the town. A bit of shipboard combat, retrieving a chest of cursed gold from a burning tavern, and everything was all tied up. Story Award: Hero of Port Nyanzaru You helped the merchant princes of Port Nyanzaru defeat Captain Smoke’s pirate armada, and you’re now known as a hero throughout the city. You gain advantage on Charisma checks when dealing with the merchant princes. Starting Gold +10, This is Your Life, +32gp, sold leather armor (+5), bought studded leather (-45) XGE's This is Your Life Folks were good. Both human; my older sisters were too, so I was a shock, I guess. They didn’t know about the infernal heritage until I showed up & the midwife fainted. Surprise! Mom raised us by herself after Dad got murdered. She was a sea captain. Always had a lot of friends and liked being around people. Learned a lot of what I do from her. From the letters, mom’s alive and well and the sisters are quite successful. Merchant & Sailor took over the business and making it better. Me? I was picked to take the second ship and try to expand the business, but fell to pirates and got press-ganged. One of em saw something in me and taught me several useful tricks. Fighting on deck isn’t like fighting in a tavern or a drill field. Life events 18 boon +12gp 14 boon: Service for a Temple. Next visit heal up to HP max. 87 battle. Escaped unscathed, though many of my crew were killed or injured. 65 piracy +12gp 62 piracy +8gp 86 battle. Survived, but still have the nightmares.
