Chapter 1. 3 hours. Completed the Dripping Caves. Missed session 1 so this is actually the first one of this campaign for Beth.

Completed Chapter 1 but missed part of it. 3 hours. Defended Bryn Shander, felling three frost giants and two winter wolves. Bought cooking utensils and cold weather gear.

Added silver to rapier. Bought camel, chainmail barding, riding saddle, sling, and bullets x5.

Had the fewest magic items and snagged Cathica's Cloak of Displacement. Story Award: Frontier Friend. If the characters free Burleigh by convincing Scarn Mikel to let him go peacefully, the Blood Riders gain a new respect for the Frontier Scouts. As a result, the riders stop bullying the scouts and they stay out of one another’s way. As long as you possess this story award, you have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and (Persuasion) checks made to influence any member of the Frontier Scouts.

3 hours. Went to Neverwinter and Helm's Hold. Fought some frost giants and stuff. Got a clockwork puppy from Thwip Ironbottom.

Bought full plate, potion of healing x6, javelin x2, net, x3, block and tackle, saddlebags, military saddle, vial, soap x5. Sold splint mail, riding saddle, torch x10.

3 hours. Went to Waterdeep for Sirac's and Duvessa's quests, then sailed up the Dessarin River towards Everlund, encountering a fire giant on the way (and did NOT take his Rod of the Vonindod because 100 lbs is a bit heavy even for Beth; also, it's not even that great). Got a +1 arrow from Zelraun Roaringhorn (Table B, 30). Camel died. :(

Dedicated DM Quest! DM'd for exactly 24 hours since the last one. Gain a tier-appropriate magic item again! Beth now has the Strength of a Hill Giant and really wishes she'd taken a feat at 4th level instead of an ability score increase.

3 hours. Chapter 3. Fought pirates. Visited Everlund and unlocked the teleportation circle network. Met Harshnag.

Bought hooded lantern, oil x10, acid x8, holy water x8, caltrops x2, ball bearings x2, hunting trap

Gain a magic item from the adventure and full player rewards, which include the above as well as two potions of greater healing (the extra one because it was the birthday of one of the DMs and you can't tell me that doesn't count as a player reward!), plus credit for a secret mission.

Bought alchemist's fire x4, caltrops x4, hide barding sized for familiar. Cast Find Familiar out of Ring of Spell Storing (stored spells remaining: 2x Find Familiar), summoning a celestial spirit into the clockwork puppy (as a reskinned bat).

Only 1 hour today! But that gets us up to 16 total, so yay for renown and downtime. Chapter 4. Fought some dudes. Got a +2 Breastplate that resizes to fit the wearer. Used another casting of Find Familiar, this time for a hawk. Put 2 Shields, a Shield of Faith, and a Healing Word (+4) in the Ring of Spell Storing. Used 2 oil, bought replacements.

4 hours. Premiere DM and Ethereal DM for triple xp and gain the magic item from the module (Dagger of Venom, bleh).

Procured a +1 Shield. Poor lifestyle (2 sp/day). Sold the old shield. Bought two chickens, 8 oz salt, 8 oz pepper, 8 oz flour in 4 pouches.

Does not count toward Dedicated DM (but it was 4 hours). Ethereal DM. Awarded Ring of Spell Storing, +2 Longbow, and Giant Slayer Greatsword (but they're currently not eligible for Dedicated DM).

Bounty Hunter quest: 4 new players (more than half).

3 hours, currently at a total of 19 so 1 more for renown and extra downtime. Summoned a new familiar, bought a new camel, a longbow, 4x antitoxin, 4x basic poison, and stored an extra Find Familiar in the ring. Got magically aged by a ghost and bought Greater Restoration as a spellcasting service to reverse it. Obtained Goggles of Night at Morgur's Mound!

Traded with Gregor, DCI 3114843432, who stole it from Rath Modar. Gregor is also my new faction mentor for reduced downtime cost, hurray. Poor lifestyle.

Bought studded leather barding for familiar.

3 hours, current total of 22. Summoned a new familiar. Used an Alchemist's Fire. Went to Deadstone Cleft to assault the stone giant stronghold. Fought a green dragon on the way, then tangled with a roc that broke our airship. Got a magic item roll on Table H, but it was a Dwarven Thrower that Beth couldn't use even if she didn't have the most items. :(

Treasure Hunter quest. Get one common or uncommon oil or potion from the DMG.

3 hours, current total of 25. Defeated Thane Kayalithica. Drank a Potion of Growth and it's ticking down with 3 hours remaining for next session (but found another one to make up for it, thanks Katie!). Used a vial of acid and a potion of healing. Resummoned familiar and got a new casting of it from Xenevan. Chester III died. :(

Chester IV is an elephant. Moo. And buying elephant-sized military saddle and chain barding as well.

Now at 28 hours. Finished the Canyon of the Stone Giants. Used an antitoxin and a basic poison. Rolled an item on Table G, which was a Staff of Healing, taken by Gnok. Leveled up as a Fighter, now Fighter 8/Rogue 1. Took Martial Adept as my feat, adding Commander's Strike and Distracting Strike.

3 hours, total of 31. Chapter 7: Berg of the Frost Giants. Used 4x Potion of Healing and a Potion of Growth. Slew a white dragon and several frost giants. Bought a second elephant since the first one didn't fit in the teleportation circle. Ended with over an hour of the growth potion left over.

3 hours, now total of 34. Continuing Chapter 7. Used 8 Potions of Healing. Bought 8 more. Got 4 more castings of Find Familiar. Chester V died, bough Chester VI.

Traded with Tristan Andrews's character Kurik (DCI 7081074717), who got it from Meria Faerenduil after letting her pass into the afterlife. Normally I wouldn't trade for one of these, but he bought me DDAL06-02 on the DMs Guild, so he had some extra pull. Leveled up to Fighter 9/Rogue 1.

Ran 20 mini-adventures of Treasure of the Broken Hoard. Gain 5000 xp and rebuild a character of up to 10th level. Beth now has better stats and more feats!

You have claimed the divine spark of the Beast of Talos for Hartkiller and outfitted him for his battle with Jarl Ryndölg. In doing so you have writ your name into his legend. You may choose to spend 50 downtime days spreading word of your and Hartkiller's inspired deeds in Hartsvale. Upon doing so, you gain the benefit of the Gratitude of Hartkiller story award. This downtime activity may only be performed once. (Story award text: In spreading the truth about the events that unfolded in Hartsvale, you find yourself blessed by the All-Father and gain temporary use of the Lucky feat, except that any expended luck points don’t return. Once all three points have been spent, remove this story award.)

The dwarves of Citadel Felbarr agreed to build us a keep, which will be done after 100 days. I also traded my Wall of Teeth to Keldon for the Portable Hole he picked out (see trade log). Finished Chapter 10 and made friends with Serissa.
