Dragon’s Lullaby (Instrument of the Bards – Mac-Fuirmidh Cittern). Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement by a bard). An instrument of the bards is an exquisite example of its kind, superior to an ordinary instrument in every way. A creature that attempts to play the instrument without being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 psychic damage. You can use an action to play the instrument and cast one of its spells. Once the instrument has been used to cast a spell, it can't be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spells use your spell casting ability and spell save DC. When you use the instrument to cast a spell that causes targets to become charmed on a failed save, the targets have disadvantage on the saving throw. This effect applies whether you are using the instrument as the source of the spell or as a spellcasting focus. Spells: fly, invisibility, levitate, protection from evil and good, barkskin, cure wounds, fog cloud In addition, the cittern is pure white in color which makes it look like its components are made from pearls. A cloud like design of Shou origin is engraved on the instrument’s body, filled in light blue color, and outlined in black. When the instrument is used to cast a spell, tiny pink flower petals swirl around the caster’s body as it gets blown away by a harmless gust of wind. The petals’ movement matches the tempo of the music being played from the Cittern. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. Five-Leaf Clover Initiate. A senior member of the Five-Leaf Clover has taken a liking of you and made you a junior member of their adventuring group. A magical tattoo of a five-leaf clover has been permanently placed at the back of your right hand. When you put your will to it, harmless green flame erupts from the tattoo and engulfs your hand. The flame can provide dim light within 5 feet of you. |

Brooch of Shielding. Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement). While wearing this brooch, you have resistance to force damage, and you have immunity to damage from the magic missile spell. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. This brooch is fashioned from a tiny leaf inlaid in gold and silver. While the leaf is not alive, it changes color depending on the season as if it were. A Giant Challenge. You have earned the respect of Prince Thornacious. He challenges you to befriend a giant, as he has done with you, (Huge sized humanoid), without using charm effects. If you do, (DMs judgement), you may spend five downtime days to return to Thornacious, who uses Heart Sight to tell if you are true of heart. He bestows upon you the title: Adoness (Peacekeeper). This title grants you advantage on Charisma ability checks with good aligned fey. Glory Before Goodwill. You chose to put personal glory above saving a villager of Parnast that was in need. Until you spend 10 downtime days repairing your reputation with the village, you have disadvantage on all Charisma ability checks and are charged 50% higher rate for all goods and services, except at the Golden Tankard, where Raggnar understands that tough decisions must occasionally be made. |

Wolfskin Cap (Hat of Disguise). Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement). This thick and fuzzy hat is actually a hat of disguise, and looks incredibly comfortable. While it allows the wearer to cast disguise self at-will, the power is limited in that it only disguises the wearer as a plainlooking brown-haired human male in his late twenties. However, while so disguised, the wearer is hidden from spells abilities that would detect its true nature (such as divine sense). A description of this item can be found in the Dungeon Master's Guide. The Demiplane of Dread. You have traversed the mists and now find yourself in the Demiplane of Dread and, until this story award is removed, you are unable to leave. So long as you are trapped, you cannot participate in any adventure or event that takes place outside of Barovia. Tread carefully during your time here, the Dark Powers are watching. +10 Downtime Days. Escape the Mists – Each time a character escapes the mists, but then returns to Barovia, escaping again gets progressively harder. If a character does not have enough Downtime days to escape the mists, they are stuck in Barovia forever. To gain downtime days, a player should play more Curse of Strahd adventures or be a Dungeon Master to gain DM rewards to award to a character to escape Barovia. |
