If you spend 48 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer studying the book's contents and practicing its guidelines, your Wisdom score increases by 2, as does your maximum for that score. The manual then loses its magic, but regains it in a century. |

Ring of Invisibility. Ring, legendary (requires attunement). This cold steel ring is invisible when unworn but becomes visible when slipped onto the wearer’s finger. While wearing this ring, you can turn invisible as an action. Anything you are wearing or carrying – apart from this ring – is invisible with you. You remain invisible until the ring is removed, until you attack or cast a spell, or until you use a bonus action to become visible again. To avoid being spotted while invisible, you must cover the ring with a glove. Familiar Attention. If you fit this collar to your familiar or pet, they are given VIP treatment complete with treats and lots of good petting from the staff. Tier 4 Quest: Nine-Pin Alley. Story Award: Nine-Pin Tender. After suffering a crushing defeat in a game of nine-pins with Halaster the Mad Mage, you spent a year and a day laboring in Undermountain. While you have been released from your service, you can still hear the echoing thundering of balls and the crashing of pins. Once after you return from Undermountain, when you are hit with thunder damage, you may use your reaction to expel raw arcane power from your body. If you do, the creature that hit you takes 55 (10d10) force damage; a successful DC 18 Dexterity saving throw cuts this damage by half. After you take this reaction, the echoes of the thunder fade from your mind and this ability may not be used again. |
