Quall’s feather token (tree) “FengHuang Feather” This tiny object looks like a feather. Different types of feather tokens exist, each with a different single-use effect. You must be outdoors to use this token. You can take a Magic action to touch it to an unoccupied space on the ground. The token disappears, and in its place a nonmagical oak tree springs into existence. The tree is 60 feet tall and has a 5-foot-diameter trunk, and its branches at the top spread out in a 20-foot radius. “Warm-to-the-touch feather. Sigils of flames cover its surface. Shades of red and orange are the prominent colors.” Guardian. The item chatters and screeches a warnings to its bearer, granting a +2 bonus to initiative if the bearer isn’t incapacitated. Staff of Birdcalls “Dark Crystal Staff” The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff explodes in a harmless cloud of bird feathers and is lost forever. Xanathar's Guide to Everything, pg. 139 “A dark staff with a skeletal bird skull. Embedded in its eye sockets are two obsidian crystals.” War Leader. The bearer can use an action to cause his or her voice to carry clearly for up to 300 feet until the end of the bearer’s next turn. (edited) If your attunement to the tattoo ends, the tattoo vanishes, and the needle reappears in your space. Necrotic Resistance. You have resistance to necrotic damage. Life Ward. When you would be reduced to 0 hit points, you drop to 1 hit point instead. Once used, this property can’t be used again until the next dawn. “A cloud-shaped magical item that follows the will of its bearer, letting them soar through the heavens.” Language. The bearer can speak and understand Primordial language while the item is on the bearer’s person. The bearer can also understand the language of chickens and other avians. Plague Buster. You helped an alliance of heroes concoct an antidote for the zombie plague ravaging Chult. Your exposure to the antidote has hardened your immune system against disease. You have advantage on saving throws made to resist disease. Wand of Lightning Bolts. Wand, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster). This wand has 7 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast the lightning bolt spell (save DC 15) from it. For 1 charge, you cast the 3rd-level version of the spell. You can increase the spell slot level by one for each additional charge you expend. The wand regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand crumbles into ashes and is destroyed. This item is found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. This slender glass wand is wrapped in a tight coil of thin copper wire. When used, the wielder’s hair stands up on end. Ring of Evasion. Ring, rare (requires attunement). This ring has 3 charges, and it regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. When you fail a Dexterity saving throw while wearing it, you can use your reaction to expend 1 of its charges to succeed on that saving throw instead. This item is found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. This ring of dark wood drips thick, viscous oil that soaks through even the thickest gloves. Mantle of Spell Resistance. Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement). You have advantage on saving throws against spells while you wear this cloak. This item is found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. Small, palm-sized mirrors have been sewn into the outside of this heavy woolen cloak. Occasionally, the mirrors reflect the image of a strange, bedraggled man in a black cloak looking back at those who view it. |
